"How do you know someone is vegan? Don't worry, they'll tell you."
Yeah? And this is noteworthy, because?
Like, have people who keep using this joke as if it's clever ever stopped to actually think about what they're saying? In what world is it a uniquely vegan trait to tell people about yourself!?
You could just as easily say: "How do you know what people work with? Don't worry, they'll tell you."
You could say it about their hobbies. Their interests. Their political views. Anything that's a significant part about who a person is or how they live their life. Because people talk about themselves. That's like one of the primary ways human being socialize and connect, by sharing about themselves. Throughout the history of human civilization, it's literally been one of the most common fucking things for people to do.
And don't "it's just a joke" me. You know that's not true. You know that in your brain this joke is filed under the "funny because it's true" category. Everyone who unironically tells this joke agrees with the premise of the joke at least a little bit.
Please, for the love of god, try to reflect just a little bit. Think just little bit before you say things, I beg of you.
EDIT: Got my first ever "Reddit Cares", lol
