What are the best achievements of India's mobility sector since independence and where do we lag?

Since independence, India did pretty great in railway, metro and rrts. Though there are many examples of failed projects. The railway never really became a world class mean but still the development we see today are a great progress. What do you think about India's progress? Also, where do we lag?

Would you live above a metro station in Delhi?

I just came across this article: https://metrorailnews.in/assessing-dmrc-vision-for-residential-buildings/

It says that China built a train line through a building. Imagine your train is crossing through a building, the idea seems so Innovation. Do you think that Delhi can turn into a innovative property model? And, more importantly can DDA be trusted for building such infra?

I have 12k and I want to invest that (or keep it safe) for 3 months

I am a college student and currently, I have a surplus of 12k through my internship. I want to pay my college fees through that (and the amount that I'll earn in the next two months of my internship). But, I am not able to control myself while keeping it in my account. I am always getting eager to spend. So, is there a place where I can keep that money for next three months or invest it?
