I got lucky

A month earlier, I made it to our local drugstore/retailer. They have a section with heavily discounted products from all kinds of categories, and my girlfriend was looking for an outdoor solar lamp. Without any intention of finding something interesting, I stumbled across this Tamagotchi Paradise (the one in my hand). They originally sold it for €35 (which is already pretty good), but since it was in the discount department, it was 50% off, so I only paid €17.50. I've been playing with it every day, and it brings me a lot of joy.

Last week, I had a few days off from work, and I remembered that there was a second Paradise in the discount department. I didn't pick it up last time because I wasn't really familiar with the gameplay of the newer Tamas. Also, I was so happy about finding the purple one that I didn't even think about getting another one. Just out of curiosity, I went to the same store again to check if the Tamagotchi was still there or if it had been sold.

I was very happy when I found it still on the shelf and immediately picked it up. At this point, I started thinking, "What if there are more?" So I started searching for other virtual pets (you have to understand that this part of the store isn't really very well sorted; things are everywhere without any real system).

After a couple of minutes, I found something I initially couldn't believe. A Tamagotchi Uni, brand new in its package (just like the Paradise), discounted from €60 to €30. And if that wasn't enough, a few minutes later, my girlfriend, who was also searching for good deals, handed me another Uni.

At this point, I still can't believe how lucky I got. All in all, I spent €95 on 2 Tamagotchi Paradises + 2 Tamagotchi Unis.

I just wanted to share this story with you guys. Sometimes life surprises you with little moments of joy and luck. I wish the same kind of luck to all the collectors and Tamagotchi lovers here.

Have a great day!

Quiet hissing sound of bottom bracket

This is an addition to my previous post, showing the sound of my bottom bracket. Is this normal?

Is my bottom bracket alraight?

Campagnolo Chorus, there's a very quiet hissing sound when I turn the cranks but it has no play. I'm new to this, does sound and movement seem normal? I'm trying to post a video of the sound below.

Longtime durability?

So I really fell in love with the 1461s. Would be my first pair of Docs, but everyone on the internet is telling me horror stories about the quality of Dr. Martens. Some say the sole is falling apart within 1 year of usage, others state that the shoe does disintegrate from the inside, others suggest getting solovair.

I'd like to hear from people who really have experience with modern day Dr.Martens, how durable are they?
