RhinoWalk Mechanic Series 50-70L Tail Bag / NX 500 without rear carrier

I'm very interested in purchasing this bag, but I'm not sure about the size (perhaps it would stick out too much laterally?) and the rear straps, as I'm not sure whether to attach the rear straps to the passenger grab handles, under the seat, or to the license plate holder. The dimensions are 56cm x 29cm x 31cm. It would protrude 15 cm on each side

Why doesn't the ATGATT (all the gear, all the time) philosophy exist among scooter riders?

I've noticed this philosophy exists among motorcyclists, though not all. Yet, even on scooters, skin damage is a concern. Millions and millions of scooter riders lack protection.

Can I import the collection to the new profile?

Greetings to the entire community

The old profile has been closed, but luckily I saved the collection csv file.

If I open a new account, is there a way to import the collection CSV file? I don't want to have to re-enter all my records.

Rear rack recommendation.

Honda sells a rack plus a 38-liter top case for €633. The rack is rated to support 6 kg (according to Honda), but excluding the weight of the top case, you're essentially spending more than €600 to load 3 kg... absurd.

I started researching the aftermarket, and the only companies selling racks that support 10 kg (including the plate, top case, and top case contents) are:

Shad with the H0CX55ST rack (about €100), to which you need to add the universal Givi E251 plate (about €40) for Givi top cases, or Shad top cases with the plate included.

Sw-Motech. Street rack rack for about €190, to which you need to add the Street Rack plate for Givi or Shad, another €40.

Shad and Givi top cases can hold a maximum of 10 kg inside, some models even less, 6 kg, 4 kg, and weigh an average of about 5 kg (capacity about 40 liters). Prices range from €130 for the Givi brand to over €200 for the Shad.

Removing the weight of the top cases, we can load a maximum of 5 kg inside.

So, would someone spend a total of €250 to €400 to carry just 5 kg on a trip?

It all seems absurd to me.

Do I have to stick to these kg limits for the racks, or can I load more?

I'd like to at least fill the top cases with 8 kg of content.

My first bike ❤️

Good morning everyone, for my first bike, I'm leaning toward the Honda NX 500 E-Clutch, which I'll equip for touring.

It will be for all-around use: city riding (with many bumpy roads), home/work, day trips, and even long trips, mostly on country roads rather than highways (mostly without a passenger), with some easy dirt roads if possible.

My question is, for someone who's 1.75m tall and weighs 80kg, how does the stock seat perform on long journeys, and is the riding position comfortable enough?

Buying a new scooter: is it still worth choosing a Honda over its Chinese competitors?

Greetings everyone.

I'm soon getting a scooter (mixed use), city riding (Caserta has lots of potholes and bumpy roads, narrow streets, and traffic) for commuting, scenic provincial roads for day trips or trips on state and provincial roads, some dirt roads if necessary, and I'll rarely ride on highways.

I'm leaning toward the Honda Adv 350 for its brand and reliability. (Services every 12,000 km, a 6-year warranty, and little depreciation if I sell.) However, it's priced lower than its competitors, offers less technology, and is more likely to be stolen.

As competitors, I'm interested in these models: Zontes 368 G, Voge SR 450 X, and SYM ADX TG 400.

What advice do you have?
