Do you guys think Locke will scale purely with AP or have some token AD scalings?

Seeing as to how Locke has some auto attack based gameplay loop in his passive, I would think that Locke would have some small AD scaling in his kit, similar to Akali.

However, it is also highly possible that he just scale purely with AP similar to Ekko.

What do you guys think?

Kayle support and how players self-sabotage in order to prove a self-fulfilling prophecy that an off-meta pick is bad.

I'm making this post to highlight how crazy players can be in order to prove that an off-meta pick is bad.

First off, I would like state that I do not think Kayle support is OP or strong. I would even say that she is just average as a support and definitely not trash tier as many players would like to claim.

So to back up my claim, we go to lolalytics and search for Kayle and filter by support and all ranks, just for a general feel of what her winrate is like.

Kayle support has a 47.41% winrate currently when filtered by all ranks, which is on the weaker side.

However, when you factor in that players tend to self-sabotage when you pick Kayle support more than 50% of the games by:

  1. First timing a champion or picking champion they have a low win-rate on,

  2. Picking another "off-meta" champion that have below 45% winrate in that role,

  3. Soft-inting in game by purposely playing bad,

  4. Chain feed when the team somehow gets ahead,

  5. Buy troll/bait items on their champions when they somehow get a lead,

you realize that Kayle support actually have around 50% winrate considering more than half the games you play as Kayle support, all 9 other players are actively trying to ruin your game.

This self-sabotage will lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy where they think Kayle support is bad and because of that they do one or multiple points from the list above, which leads to them losing the game. They will then blame the Kayle support for the loss.

I swear that this happens extremely frequently only when you pick Kayle support. Pick something like Rengar support, you don't get this extreme of rate of self-sabotage by players.

I do not know if Riot understands this when looking at the winrate of certain off-meta picks, but this frequent self-sabotaging does drop Kayle support winrate by quite a huge amount.

Jungle Kayle becoming more prevalent?

I have been seeing an uptick of Kayle jungle games in this Kayle challenger channel and am curious if this is a sign that Kayle jungle is now playable?

There is also a Kayle jungle OTP on EUW that just been spamming Kayle jungle: https://dpm.lol/funnelingthepain-1585 with 54% winrate on it.

What changed so that Kayle jungle is now playable in the jungle without being perma-invaded?

The Rengar is literally smurfing farming kills. Vayne counterpicked me cause she was last pick but I managed to farm up and survive as kayle. But doesn't matter since rengar was already 10 kills the moment I hit level 11.

Yes I could have definitely played better, but isn't the difference between emerald to gold in the jungle a bit too large of a gap?
