hi guys, is it normal for a course coordinator to not accept the 3 day extension and only approve 2 days?

hello! so my spec con has just been denied because they’ve said they have already given me too many extensions for that same assessment. i’ve had a really hard semester and repeating a subject would be a lot of extra time and money. just wondering how i can appeal and what sort of documents i would need. the spec con team has said that they acknowledged that ive submitted correct documentation for my applications but the main reason is that ive submitted a spec con application too many times. pls help guys

hi guys! so i had applied for a spec con on an assignment i had already received an extension on. this assignment was due last semester.i’m still waiting to hear the from the spec con team but tdy i have received an email saying my final grade for that subject has been released. just curious as to what this means and if they’ll be able to change it once spec con approves my application & i submit the assignment. i’m waiting on a reply from the course coordinator atm.

would anyone enrolled into the bundoora version (BIOL2566) pls be able to tell me if the online workshop on friday 3:30-5:30 has any spots left or if it is full?

Hello! Just wanting tips and advice on how to do well in this subject! Is it a difficult subject or is it considered a WAM booster? How can I do really well in this subject? What should be prioritising? What are the assignments like?
Should I not bother with the lecture/workshop and just focus on the assignments?
I'm a first year and I have been been advised to do this subject. I'm aiming for a high WAM by semester 2 because i'm wanting to transfer to a different uni.

hi! how do i check which onboarding modules ive already done on canvas? i’m getting a notification on enrolment online that i haven’t completed mandatory student onboarding modules but i thought i did all of them earlier on in the year.

hey guys! what WAM got you into the bachelor/master pharmacy double degree? and if you only get into the normal bachelor of pharmacy (honours) are there still ways to enter the bachelor/masters pharmacy double degree so that you still finish both degrees in 5 years?
so ik the double degree for pharmacy at monash means that you can get ur bachelors and masters in 5 years. i'm currently studying pharmacy at a different uni and would like to transfer to monash. i only want to try to transfer to monash pharmacy if i think i have a good chance because ill have to do a maths subject to meet the maths prerequisite for monash pharmacy. this means i would do one less subject for pharmacy at my current uni. the maths subject i will be completing for monash pharmacy will also cost me a lot so i only really want to pay for it if i think i have a decent chance at getting into the bachelor/masters double degree.

hey guys! so i submitted an IAS form on the 12th of june for the 10th and the 11th of june (special consideration team told me how i could get it “back dated”).
my assignment was due on the 10th and my GP filled out no for all 3 sections but i was only given an extension until the 13th. this would give me 2 days to finish a 1500 word essay with 6-8 sources including peer reviewed. i feel like it’s impossible to complete that much work yet they only gave me 2 days. is there anything i can do?? i can’t really be bothered going to the GP again but obviously if there’s nothing else i can do, i’ll just go to the GP.

hey guys! since i wasn’t able to get an IAS filled out by a medical practitioner while i had symptoms. the spec con team has advised me to fill out the part of the IAS form that says “student says they are suffering from…” because it serves as a student declaration that has been corroborated by the medical professional. would the gp still need to fill out the table at the bottom where it says “Please indicate your professional assessment of the type and level of impact of the condition on the student's activities.”?

clan was doing pretty well a year ago but because of someone removing too many people, the clan is struggling with clan wars. we’re basically just looking for someone who will participate in clan wars.

hey guys! is it true that the special consideration team can only give you an extension of how many days the doctor has outlined in the IAS? im pretty sure my doctor has outlined a day or 2 before and i’ve gotten an extension for longer.

one of my teachers mentioned that some first year students have gotten expulsion notices. just wondering how a first year could be expelled?

hi guys! so i had applied for special consideration for an in person assessment that was last tuesday and because i was unwell i got special consideration for it. the in person assessment will now be held tomorrow for me but unfortunately im still really unwell. would i be able to get special consideration again? i’m unsure because my classes finish this friday.
