Grateful despite miscarriage

just want to share that although I went through a sad event this weekend. my doctor, family and friends have been so supportive and loving. i‘m so thankful for them and the bright side is that this experience has really brought my husband and I closer and i think we’ll be so much more grateful when a pregnancy does work out.

my faith has also been a strong pillar.

thankful for this sub where we can cultivate gratitude together, despite difficult circumstances!

Praise God! He is faithful and answers prayers!

Hallelujah! I went from being so depressed and anxious, unable to sleep and function to today expected my first baby with my Christian husband and God is providing in ways I never expected. I went through years of struggle, nearly divorced and he has brought us through and answered our prayers. He is good! put your faith in Him, He will not let you down.

Anyone free to review my panel interview deck?

Hello all! I landed a panel interview (tomorrow 3pm CET) for an account executive role (PubSec, Europe). Super excited! My assigned buddy is on holiday however - would anyone be willing and kind enough to take 10 minutes to chat/review my slides? I'd be forever grateful and can invite you out for a bit to eat if you ever make it to my neck of the woods!

Struggling with money worry and selfishness

Hello fellow believers. I've experienced many things with the Lord, great breakthroughs but a recurring theme in my life is selfish ambition and stress over money. I get frustrated with my current career (I believe God gave me good abilities and opportunities but I feel like I've not been a good steward) and related to this frustrated/worried with my financial situation.

I want to overcome this love of money/selfish ambition and trust God fully - I know his plans are far greater than my plans and he is a good God who provides for his children. My husband and I recently found out that I'm pregnant (Praise God!) but the enemy is attacking me with money/career worries and stealing my joy in a time that I should just be thankful.

My husband tries to pray for me but also get annoyed with my tendency to worry about these things and feels like I'm pressuring him to earn more/be a better steward. He's much more easy going/laissez faire with finances, which has also put me in a position where I feel I have to the one to manage our finances, track out budget, earn money, etc. It gets to the point where I compare to other people and struggle being happy for people I really love when they're blessed and successful.

I try to pray, renew my mind, read my Bible, but I'm honestly struggling. Does anyone have concrete tips on how to overcome this? Trust God fully. I don't want these fears to pop up every few months for my whole life and steal my joy and peace.

Changing jobs DURING pregnancy?

Hello, considering changing jobs (for a much higher paying job) during the end of the 1st trimester/beginning of 2nd (first baby). My husband is not convinced but I feel like I can pull it off. What do you think? Also how would you navigate telling them? I don't want them to feel like I betrayed them when I finally tell them.

Big and always messy entrance - Help!

my husband and I both like interior design but are also quite messy (ADHD). our entrance is way too big and usually becomes the dump all area after a long day at work (clothes, bags, packages, clutter). please help with some ideas on how to organize this space so it works for us and it low maintenance. it’s also the first thing that people see when arriving.

sharing photos for reference:

- now with mess

- when it looked nice (used to have a table but now converted guest bed room into dining room)

- empty

built in cabinets would be great but we rent so too much of an investment.

any tips much appreciated!
