This is our Wizard VR Game -- We would like to know what do you think about the Spell Casting system

In this short video, we give a brief overview of the main concept behind our project—The Magician VR—and how we've approached it. It's our first major project, and we'd love to hear your thoughts.

We just showcased our wand spellcasting VR game at the UploadVR Showcase Summer 2026, and we’ve finally revealed the release date. We’d love to hear your thoughts.

Hello everyone!

We’re a small independent VR team from Spain, and our game The Magician VR: The Cursed Wand has just been showcased at the UploadVR Showcase Summer 2026.

This is a very important moment for us. It took a lot of hard work for a small team like ours to get involved in an event like this, and honestly, we’re really excited to finally share the trailer with a wider VR audience.

We’ve also revealed that The Magician VR is coming to Meta Quest in September 2026.

The game aims to make casting spells in VR feel physical and intuitive: using a wand and your wrist, casting spells, battling creatures, and, hopefully, getting as close as possible to the fantasy of being a real wizard.

We’d love to hear your thoughts:

What did you think of the trailer?

Did you find the spellcasting system interesting?

And what else would you like to see before launch?

Any honest feedback is welcome. Thanks for checking it out!

This is our Wand-Based Spellcasting System, based on wrist gestures

As new members of this community, we’re very excited to share with you the core mechanic of our project.

It’s a spell-casting system that uses a wand. Depending on the gesture or pattern drawn, the spell the player wants is cast.

Our goal and challenge was to add this layer of complexity to the gameplay without making it clunky to execute or negatively impacting combat.

And thanks to our team’s hard work, I believe we’ve managed to optimize the system so that it’s intuitive and simple, providing a sense of satisfaction when mastered without disrupting the fast-paced combat.

We’re excited to receive your feedback and ideas so we can continue improving this system and our project along with it.

Thank you very much for your time.

"Coming soon list" on Meta Store

Hi, we're a VR game studio. We're in the process of publishing on the Meta Store. Does anyone know how to get listed under “Coming Soon,” how many wishlist entries we need, what the reach is, or how it works? Thanks in advance.

Any advice for a new developer on the subreddit?

Hello everyone! We’re Master Crowd Games, a small video game studio focused on VR. We’re not very good at social media in general and find it hard to navigate. We thought this would be a good place to share updates on our development and get some feedback from regular VR players to help us improve, but we want to avoid just spamming the feed. Any tips on how to get started? Thanks in advance.
