For this artpiece I decided to imbue some expressionist elements, mostly within the figures and the foreground, as I had thoroughly enjoyed depicting people in such a manner for a previous college project. And I have also combined the expressionist elements with my regular tight compositions and far more detail focused cityscape paintings.

Here are a series of painting that I made as part of a recent art project in college. The artpieces based off of black and white film photos I had taken in and around my local area, being the Black Country in the West Midlands.

The main goal of my project was to subvert the usual way artists depict working class people, mostly in stark and overly realistic ways. I intended to create “Anti-Boring” artworks as a response. The artworks being incredibly expressive, vibrant, and humorous whilst still maintaining the underlying themes and meanings from the original photos I took.

I’m annoyed, it wasn’t even heavily raining when I wore them, there’s no wax there whatsoever and then the left airbud just goes really faint, when I listen to music it feels like it isn’t even playing and the right one is doing all the work.

I tried cleaning them with a toothbrush and factory resetting but it hasn’t done anything, right now they’re in an open container facing downwards to try and get the moisture out (if there even is any)

Should I just leave them for 24 hours and come back to them once they’re dry or should I just find a new pair?
