Only one egg fertilised

I’m really struggling right now and feeling heartbroken and overwhelmed. Yesterday, I had 8 eggs collected during my fertility treatment, which initially felt like a hopeful number. But today I received an update from my fertility clinic saying that only one egg has shown early signs of fertilisation. Hearing this has left me feeling devastated and uncertain about what comes next.
What can I do?
I can’t stop crying 🥲🥲🥲🥺🥺🥺🥺

I’m starting IVF for the first time and feeling quite anxious about the outcome. My husband doesn’t have any fertility issues. I had an ectopic pregnancy in March 2025, and since then I haven’t been able to conceive despite using letrozole and trigger shots. Later, a mild hydrosalpinx was discovered during a saline flush procedure, even though it wasn’t visible on a transvaginal ultrasound. I had surgery to treat it about two months ago, and now I’ve started IVF injections. Because I’ve already been through a lot of disappointment and delays, I don’t want to waste more time and I’m worried about getting a negative result. Given my history, what are your thoughts on my chances, and do you have any positive experiences or advice that might help me stay hopeful during this IVF journey?”
