Peace Bridge or Rainbow Bridge?

Hi all! I’m picking up my girlfriend who’s flying into Buffalo and crossing the border into Canada. We plan on spending the day at Niagara Falls as this is her first time in Canada.

As for options to getting her across the border, we’re still figuring that out. My passport still hasn’t arrived so I can’t pick her up from Buffalo. She plans on walking across the border. Her flight gets in at around 10:30am and the flix buses from BUF to rainbow bridge don’t appear to be running at that time. uber is always an option, but of course it tends to be expensive around airports.

Where I live it’s around a similar time for me to drive to Peace Bridge (easier to bus to) vs Rainbow Bridge (more convenient as we plan on visiting the falls). Would it be easier/cheaper to have her bus to Peace bridge, with me going to Fort Erie and then back to Niagara Falls (~1.5hr/100km round trip to my house and back), or do we just get the uber?

We are still exploring our options so any advice helps. Thank you!

Fridge Freezer in Residence?

I’m going into my first year and I’ll be living in residence this year. My family and I are looking at getting fridges, but it’s hard to find one without a freezer, and the ones with freezers are a similar price to the ones you rent via COLDEX.

Is the “no freezer” thing really that big of a deal? Will my RA care, and if so, what would happen?

it’s been time to get this checked

hey Reddit, probably should have posted earlier but I’ve gotten so used to the cycle hat i barely bat an eye anymore.

i got my earlobes pierced about 3 and a half years ago and for the past maybe 3 years my right ear has been wack. every so often the bump on my ear swells up, then it bursts (releasing a mostly clear, scentless liquid thats slightly tinted red), crusts over in the morning, and shrivels up again to a little bump until it decides it feels like getting big again. every once in a while it bleeds, but only really when the bump is small.

i’ve tried cleaning it with spectro gel (my piercer suggested this when I got them pierced), i’ve tried leaving it alone, i’ve tried picking at it, but nothing really works. it’s stayed relatively the same for the past while. the left earring is fine and the earrings are titanium. how do i get this to stop?

Tick Bite - Should I Be Concerned?

Hi all!

I went for a walk in the woods (southern Ontario) on Friday and found this beautiful guy this morning (Tuesday) on my lower back when i was showering. Surprisingly not as fat as I was expecting so not 100% sure when it actually bit me

A friend helped me pull it out and said it looked like a dog tick but I’m too paranoid to trust him. It doesn’t look like the traditional “bullseye“ pattern but I can’t help but fear the light ring around the purple is indicative of something

If it’s helpful, I was bitten about a year ago on top of my head and nothing seemed to come from that.

I’m not feeling any different than I usually do aside from maybe the tiniest bit of soreness (only noticeable when thinking about it) and anxiety.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
