11 week old short naps

My baby is 11 weeks old today. As of yesterday he will not sleep longer than 30 minutes during the day. And he does contact for all of his naps…. But it doesn’t matter. Now between the 20-30 minute mark his eyes pop open and it’s over. He was previously napping 2 hours or more if we let him.

Help! I have no idea what to do with this. When to put him to bed, etc. Isn’t he just going to be extremely overtired and be up all night? Is this his new norm??

I’d love advice and experiences. Thanks!

Help baby refuses to sleep in bassinet

He’s almost 3 weeks old. It’s getting worse. He used to sleep in there for 1-2 hours at a time but now completely refuses. I’m exhausted and don’t know what to do. I’m panicking this won’t get better.

Pumping schedule

Hi! I’m a STM to an 8 day old baby. BF is going well! But I have a question about a pumping schedule. With my first, I literally didn’t pump until at all 7-8 weeks pp. With my second, I’m considering pumping sooner but I have a hard time wrapping my head around when is the best time to do it.

I’m thinking of pumping once per day right now after his morning feed. I want to have some to freeze but also don’t want to create a huge over supply either.

Any tips or advice is appreciated!

When did your milk come in?

I’m currently 3 days PP and milk still hasn’t come in yet. I developed a fever right after birth and they suspected chorio. Could this be why it is delayed? Is it normal to not come in yet? I’m getting nervous about it. I’ll also take any tricks to help. I’m drinking tons of water, pumping, letting baby latch frequently.

Thank you!

Tell me the best part about this

I had my second baby boy this week. He’s exactly 13.5 months younger than my first. We just got home and my first is doing alright. He wants to steal baby’s paci and he cries a lot when he cries.

I love my babies both so, so much and I know they will grow up together and be best friends. But today I’m sad. My heart breaks watching my first baby cry so hard around my second. I knew there would be an adjustment period. But it’s crushing me. I’m missing bedtime because I’m nursing my second. I’m just sitting in the chair crying about it. I don’t want to ruin our first’s life. I miss him. I hate seeing I’m so sad about it.

Spam me with all the good please

Please tell me your second kid was a better sleeper

My first is 13 months and I’m due in 3 weeks with our second. Our first is not a good sleeper. Never has been, even despite sleep training. It’s taken years off my life and truthfully given me PTSD about another. I’m horrified of going through that again.

I need some encouragement from people who had hard sleepers for first borns and unicorn sleepers for second 😭 please give me hope

Edit: typo

We have a 1 year old and are adding another this summer. Both our families live out of state and we have two big dogs (lab mixes) that we travel with. Is the Sienna spacious enough for our family? I know the day to day will be more than enough room. But we need something that will work when everyone (dogs included) need to be in the vehicle. Thank you!
