Hello, New Mei main here(Started playing her yesterday) and overall new player to the game(Started almost a week ago) and I've been playing Mei and she's really fun but doesn't she feel a little... overtuned?

Her damage is insane and versatile for any situation, if ur getting dived u can just hold primary and if u have the freeze perk u basically will almost never lose a 1v1 scenario, her icicle shot just does insane damage period and isn't too hard to hit. She can practically be a second tank with her big ass wall. Which also just ties in to her survivability which is also insane with her self freeze giving invulnerability and healing along side her ice jump perk. Do yall foresee her ever getting nerfs? because as of now i don't see her having any weaknesses, She even has the highest health pool amongst all the DPS characters(Bastion and torbjorn have higher health) so if there WERE to be any nerfs i would probably want it to be to her health.

Am i the only one that prefers the life steal on discorded enemy perk over floating in the air for 3 seconds?

the value it can give is very versatile, increasing overall survivability since he doesn't have any options for healing himself outside of his ult. And it can also potentially help him with dive since he has poor mobility(which a 3 second hover ability isn't going to help) if u use snap kick and heal some HP from hitting them while discorded in hopes of killing them off before they kill you. Honestly the hover perk should just be base kit.

Are we really at a point in 2026 where I'm called a coon for saying "you can be racist to white people"????

There was a comment on TikTok talking about how you can't be racist to white people and when I responded saying that was the stupidest thing I've heard coming from a poc I got replies with racoon images telling me I was a coon and that white people aren't oppressed 😭

OBVIOUSLY they aren't oppressed??? That doesn't automatically change the definition of what racism is. Asian people aren't oppressed yet when anyone makes a racist remark about them they are condemned very quickly (and rightfully so). I will literally see people arguing online Abt random bs and the other person will just randomly bring up "and your white"

Why do people act like not being taller than your dad is crazy? Specifically when there's a gap between your parents.

Like my dad is 6'2 but my mom is 5'2 I'm lucky I even got to 5'10 at 18 😭😭

About the ending(I liked it but it's mostly just confusion)

It's been a few years now since the finale released but I never watched it due to the frustration of how mappa was dealing with the release schedule and me ending up getting spoiled partially either way while waiting.(Ruined my favorite anime OAT for me 😭)

The spoiler was about eren's death and even though you could say that anyone could see that coming, knowing why and how he died still put a sour taste in my mouth. That and after the finale released everyone was trashing it so I was put off about watching it.

Now in 2026 I've been looking for something to watch and I decided, why not just rewatch all of AOT since I loved it so much and now I can ACTUALLY finish it even though ik what's going to happen(was still very enjoyable).

Then I watch the 2 final movies of the series and it's literally peak throughout both, especially the final one. In the last few minutes into the moments leading up to eren's head being decapitated I was thinking, what could possibly go wrong that everyone could call the finale "trash"??? Then the scene with armin and eren happens, then my brain turns to mush.

After that scene happens the story ends how I thought it would end, eren makes titans vanish from the world, they are seen as heroes and mikasa is now a never to be widowed woman. I thought everything was great except for that particular scene with eren and armin talking. WHAT was that? It kinda felt like his whole character was a sham he's suddenly talking about how he activated the rumbling just to do it and is acting unusually childish about mikasa finding love with someone else.

And the whole thing about mikasa being the one to change the fate of ymir I was very confused about too. Did she change time from all the way back then?? If so how??? Because after that it shows a scene where she killed King fritz, preventing her from ever being eaten by her children and passing down the power of titans(which is why I would also assume the power of titans vanished).idk if I could get a indepth explanation I would really appreciate it.

Nightmare fuel inducing realization.

At first I thought nikki was just in this separate dimension out of her body and would occasionally gain access back to her body. My friend put a frightening thought into my head: what if she's just in her body like normal. She can see, hear and FEEL just like normal but has no control over her body and just watches and hears as something else entirely controls what she does.(Makes any scene that she hurts herself in or the sex scenes even more saddening since she would be feeling that pain.)

It would make sense seeming as anytime she comes back to her body she seems to know everything that's going on which is why she was so quick to ask bear to kill her after gaining access to speak with her body; not even just find a way to fix it, just killing her off the bat since she's in pure agony. Just imagine looking at a mirror and seeing yourself smiling eerily knowing something is controlling your body that ISN'T you.

How do I get it out of my mindset to not immediately think when women talk about their experiences with men that they're talking about "all men" or a vast majority.

I know that most women don't literally think it's "all men" but whenever I just see "men" in a sentence I just assume they're talking about them as a whole. And since I'm a man In the back of my mind I instantly feel like I'm associated with it.

Whenever there's a broad generalization of men associated with r*pists which statistically is fair. With the context from the sentences above; using the whole "if the shoe fits" statement whenever I make a comment isn't rly valid to me bc would it be wrong to feel so offended because I feel like im associated with rapists bc of my gender???
