Does your animals treat you differently on HRT?

Let me start off by saying I love my cat with all my heart but after the first month of hormones, he has become quite the asshole towards me.

He'll sniff me and rarely want me to pet him anymore, sometimes he will sleep with me and like earlier today he did cuddle up right next to me.

I guess I just wanna know if this is normal? I love my cat but I also kind of miss him getting up in my wheelchair and dirty clothes, I miss him when he would look at me full of love.

I started my HRT treatment on April 21st 2026 if that helps any, he is still my little Jasper and I would do anything to keep him safe.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my transphobic religious parents

For context, my mother Gena refuses to take responsibility while drinking and says it's demon possession. My stepfather Adam is just as bad if not a worse alcoholic.

At least my boyfriend's cousin accepted me as a woman today and gave me a hug for it.

Edit: I blocked both of them to protect my peace, I told my mother goodbye.
