Extreme Street A or B?

Extreme Street A or B?

1989 Mazda b2200, first autocross event coming up in a few weeks and was wondering which class XS-A or B due to weight and age to be competitive. It weighs around 2600-700lbs, I’ve seen people sign up XS-B with 90s Miatas and XS-A with newer sports cars. Any advice would be great👍

4l80e Questions

2002 GMC Serria 2500 SLT. Temps sit at 170-180 degrees after 20-30 minutes of highway driving at 60mph towing nothing. The transmission slips after 1/2-3/4 throttle, anymore throttle and the transmission just grunts and gets hot. Any recommendations on what to do, I did a fluid exchange at the old shop I worked at 2 years ago which really did nothing to help. I work on my own vehicles but never rebuilt a transmission just replaced a clutch in my other car once. Appreciate any feedback👍

Anything Else I Should Bring?

I have my first autocross event coming up in about a month. I plan on bringing all my spare fluids, lubricants, spare parts in a tote. I’ll add some basic tools and small 1.5 ton jack before I go. Anything else I should bring? I have 2 spare tires, thinking of bringing 1.

I’ll Believe it When I See It

Ordered some parts over a week ago, basically identical. One showed up a day early, this one got to St.Peters,mo. Then turned around and is going back? Hotlines was no help they said it’s on the way. On the way? It’s way was 95% complete, why throw it on truck and send it back? Vehicle in pieces half together waiting on these buffoons.

Good to Know What’s Considered a “Punishment”

Been working for fedex for about a year, worked the busiest van line on the largest volume trucks( average scans doing 4 trucks would be 600-1000 packages normally) did this for about 4-5 months and actually made package handler on the month. My body was getting to overworked at that point and wanted a change, the guy across the belt from me was a 70 year old man who couldn’t do it anymore, so he was brushed outside as a switcher when the position was open (never worked a job in my life where I didn’t perform well and actually got a promotion) a second switcher position was needed and I applied and got it aswell. This was last year near August , been switching outside ever since, we have 4 switcher including me, 1 is full time switcher only and the other 3 are switcher/package handlers. The full time switcher is 30, I am 24, the other 2 switchers are both 70. So you can imagine who gets called inside to “help out” more often than others. Thats fine, I really don’t mind going inside from time to time moving box’s and still having the feeling of knowing what’s going on during sort. That being said, during peak we were kinda all inside helping but management realized all the switchers were “retards” (said to my face) and old so it was probably best that they stay outside, plus having 3 switchers inside while one 70y/o man with congestive heart failure does all the moves outside makes little sense. I’ve tired to talk with the other switchers about coming together on problems we have to management(trucks breaking down constantly and never being fixed in time or properly, 70y/o switchers about to die, there was a week the fuel truck never came and everyone was running out of fuel but nobody said anything till THEY were running out of fuel) I’ve had the only switcher worth his salt(30) tell me to my face he doesn’t care he normally just does things that work out for him. I am switching with a bunch of retards, and I feel like one of them for working here. I’ve had management say right in front of me to driver managers “ disregard what he told you, you just got your information from a switcher”. When I brought that up to management and said I didn’t like how I was being talked about I was sent to a van line for a week. This happens often now, they have actually started to call it a “Punishment”. My attendance over the last month has been shotty, they slashed my hours and started scheduling me from 1am-7:30 to 4-7:30 shifts. Normally all the switchers come in a half hour early to set up and just figure issues out, the last month I’ve been getting my ass rode about “coming in way to early”( shift said 1:30 and I clocked in at 1:19 type stuff).I live 40 minutes away, drive older vehicles that are not good on gas and have bills. I’m not going to drive over an hour, add wear on my vehicles and no sleep for a 3 hour shift. I feel with the way management has acted I have nobody I can go to and effectively ask questions or share problems, even if I did nothing get resolved. So over the past month or 2 when my shift says 4:15-7:30 I just use my PTO to cover the shift. I guess management doesn’t like that because last week I was pulled inside, told by a few managers as a “punishment” for “not showing up” is I’ll be working the van lines for the perceivable future. I could go on, I could say a lot more. I still need a job so I’ll leave it at that, just wondering if I’m alone here/what to do besides quit, thank you.

Would This Pass Tech?

Getting my vehicle ready for my first auto-cross event. Wondering if using a rubber bungee cord would get me past tech or not. I’ve used this method since I got the truck in 2020 with zero issues. Really not trying to construct a metal tie down when this works perfectly well.

[TOMT] I remember listening to techno type music when I was in 8th grade(2013-14).

The only thing I remember is the video was just a picture zoomed out of a person standing in a giant cave with a bunch a green swirling light like an aurora. Any ideas, watched on YouTube.

First time registering my car, not totally sure what info to put in the GCR Page, and for vehicle weight it says to list what I says in the GCR. Any help would be great, my class is XS-A.
