Really enjoying taking cruises on the Nordschleife and Fujimi Kaido. It’s actually enjoyable to drive within the limits of each car. You could theoretically trash every lap and hit the walls. But it’s actually enjoyable taking turns slowly and easing out of the turn until you get a little wheel spin and floor it.
Really happy with this experience. Thinking of piecing a sim rig together to get even more out of it. But man that shit gets pricey fast.
Curious if there’s any regular meet ups or cruises to get involved with.
When I was little growing up in the 90s I would hear a lot of grunge music on the radio. Most of it didn’t scare me. Something about Laynes voice, Cantrells sinister riffs, and the whole bands energy, just scared the piss out of me. I’d hear Man in the Box come on the radio and instantly get scared lol. It got even more scary when he starts the “ahhh”s that go along with Jerry’s voice box guitar. I’d assume Im not the only one that had this feeling.
Now as an adult (36) I have been listening to them pretty regularly and exploring the songs I didn’t hear on the radio. My god. What a punch of energy. Power. Dissonance. I love it. I am a music producer and make dnb. Man does AIC hit some of the same vibes.
Wondering if anyone else had something similar happen, or if you just got into it later in life. Either way, what a band. 🤘

As a newcomer, I have quickly picked up on a trend with the past few performances by the team. My main concern is the Race Strategy. It is the recurring factor in most of the blunders we have suffered. Is this another "Just the way it goes." moment or is this a "Someone is about to get sacked!" moment? Just seems like the decisions have nearly eliminated the chance for contention this season. I come from watching EPL and know the culture there is very cutthroat. I don't expect to see that level of thin ice here in F1. However, when the guys are given a solid chance to go for it, something happens. So far more often than not, it has been race strategy.

I’ll see literally all types of vehicles getting tickets all over the city. It seems white pickups get a pass. I have the feeling it’s mostly city owned vehicles, small private businesses, etc. But seriously. I have seen 1 the entire time I have driven in Richmond for the past ten years. Quite possibly cop was helping the dude change a tire instead of reprimanding reckless driving. Im sure it’s like this everywhere. It’s just bad. When I first moved here someone asked me to give them a ride to a doctors appointment. They said it was in Glen Allen, so I typed it into google thinking it was either the doctors name. When I saw that it was just a splotch of the map labeled as Glen Allen I lost my shit. At least Scott’s Addition has a little bit of a tell in the name, it’s a splotch of land that was added to the cities property by a private land owner named Scott. Glen Allen? Glen fucking Allen??? Who the fuck is that. What he do? Why? (No I will not google it) Oh no one cares?? Cool. Rename it to something functionally logical. Just using a persons full name as the name of a place is SoOOOoo dumb.
