I am a long standing patron of Mysore Sandal Soap. The fragrance and quality is unmatched for the price. A single soap just for me lasts 30+ days with 2 showers a day.

Since early this year, I have noticed quality go down dramatically. The natural sandalwood fragrance seems diluted. Moreover there is some tweak they have this year which is causing me severe itch in intimate places. Overall the soap quality has gone down.

I've recently come to know ph value of soaps also matter. This soap has ph 8+ and hence not good for your skin.

What soap do you use? Do you know the ph value?

I don't want to demean anyone but everyone of us should be aware of the reality.

I got a reality check when our maid told me about water flowing into her house last night when they were asleep. Still, she showed up for work and did not utter anything until I asked her if everything was ok.
