My custom! Gundam Lunagazer Artemis

Hey mechaheads! Sharing once again one of my custom modded & painted kits and this time the base kit I used is the HGBF Lunagazer

Inspired by the Goddess of the hunt and the moon Artemis. I modded the AGE-FX beam rifle to closely resemble a crossbow and attached the nepeight backpack to improve the voiture lumiere. The backpack once fully deployed also resembles a full moon and the bits can act as remote support & attack funnel.

Really had fun brainstorming the "lore" behind my custom and goes to show that gunpla ia freedom

What do you think? How would you rate my kit (0/10)

The Myth, The Legend, The OG Full armor gundam

This guy is finally in my hands! This thing rarely gets reprints and when it does people literally fight to get one lol. I have been hunting this one for a decent price wayback 2019 and I traded my RG Red dragon astray for this absolutely no regrets.

What's the best gramps in 1/100 scale?

I personally adore the Ver. OYW it maybe an oldie and some get intimidated by the use of screws and polycaps but the finish build out of the box is just perfect in my eyes. What's your favorite MG rx-78-02?

Traveling to Hong Kong this October! Looking for the best Gunpla shops and hidden gems.

ey everyone! I’m planning a trip to Hong Kong this coming October and I'm looking to hunt down some Gunpla while I'm there.

I know about the Gundam Base, but I’m really looking to find shops that offer great selections, rare finds, or just overall better bargain prices on that sweet plastic crack.

Where are the go-to districts or specific buildings I should hit up? I’ve heard rumors about certain hobby havens in Mong Kok or Sham Shui Po, but would love exact shop names or building recommendations so I can map out my itinerary. Thanks in advance!

Ready for deployment! Presenting the: 1/144 HGUC Jesta Shezarr - Desert type '26 Champion Grunt V grunt Comp

Finally had the time to take proper photos of my entry! I hope you enjoy it.

Story time:

When the competition kicked off, we were randomly assigned to either the Earth Federation or Zeon. As a massive fan of Zeon’s iconic grunt designs, I was crossing my fingers for a mono-eye. Instead, luck drafted me straight into the EF.

The organizers and judges set the stage beautifully they revelead a barren desert diorama as the battlefield. Seeing the terrain, I decided to lean into the challenge and grabbed one of my all-time favorite Federation grunts: the Jesta Shezarr Team B.

For the color scheme, I already had a clear vision, but I knew it wasn't going to be easy. I had to flip the Jesta’s signature stealthy navy and dark grey palette completely upside down, swapping them for the exact opposites on the color wheel (beiges and browns). While I’ve hand-painted camouflage details in the past, I had never committed to free hand painting an entire mobile suit by hand.

On top of that, I set a personal goal for myself: place at least in the top 3 using only markers. What I didn't expect? Walking away as champion especially against my competitors with sheer talent and insane builds.

Income WIP ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Nearing the finish line to complete my build - Jesta Shezarr - Desert type

Well we are almost there lads just needs a final inspection, a bit more spot weathering, maybe more decals and then a final flat topcoat.

Presenting the RGM-96Xs-D Jesta Shezarr - Desert Type (Unit 08).

For context:

I entered this competition with a personal challenge: at least place in the top 3 using a budget friendly, 100% hand-painted build done entirely with markers. Since kicking this off at the end of February, it’s been three months of painstaking marker work, but this mofo is finally almost done.

To be honest, painting an ENTIRE kit with markers was brutal. If it weren't for the self-imposed challenge, I gladly would have taken the easy route with spray cans! But despite the struggle, there’s still something incredibly rewarding about hand-painting a kit from start to finish. Nearly there!

Doloha Marker DSPIAE Gundam Marker
-645 (White oak) -Silver -Metallic Red
-644 (Orange brown) -Red -Metallic Green
-643 (Tawny) -Metallic Red

-M111 (Dark steel)
-M122 (zirconium black)
-MY25 (Gold)
-MW02 (Silver)

*used Vallejo's model wash black and brown in order to weather it.

Bought a FG gramps and surprised myself with outcome. This was supposedly a color accurate challenge since the FG is so devoid of color accuracy or any color for the matter lol. Then with the first hit of the bosny primer grey hit a creative spark entered my brain and did a "statue" instead.

Anyways, here's the weathered rx-78 status. Thoughts?

Hi y'all!

Me and my family of 5 (including a cute 2 year old) will be flying to Hong Kong for a short vacation. We know that we want to stay at Tsim Sha Tsui but we wanna know some of the best hotels/airbnb to stay.

We aren't super particular but has to be clean, easy access to transportarion and won't break bank.
