I do outreach work in a really bad area, mostly with unhoused folks. I love my neighbors more than anything but sometimes bad folks come through the encampment and things can get dicey. This is my edc besides my supply bag.

Cz75 compact with phlster enigma - the holster setup really conceals the pistol, I don't really have any printing at all and it makes sure that my patients see a friendly, safe face while I'm still able to look out for us if something happens.

Gas station pocket knife - I bought it for 15 dollars when I was 11, I've had to replace several of the screws but somehow it's outlasted anything else I've had. Decided to engrave it myself after it made it 10 years.

Klarus Flashlight - I don't use this too often considering I have an otoscope/opthalmoscope in my bag and it looks a lot friendlier.

Bandage scissors and needle driver - the bandage scissors are self explanatory, the needle driver is not at all for it's intended purpose. This poor thing replaced a pair of pliers ages ago and I still haven't gotten a new multitool.

Narcan - self explanatory, we go through loads of the stuff.

XJ9 - my comfort tv show, always found her really relatable so I carry her around with me :)

Howdy folks, I recently purchased an empty 10/22 receiver, something that I haven't built before. I'm considering building an sbr inspired by the iconic vz61, since they aren't legal in my state. My thought is, I'll put the wire folder on the back, or make my own similar 10/22 sized folder, and modify a vz61 grip to fit onto a chassis. I'll also probably suppress it when I'm done.

What chassis would yall pick for a project like this? I figured one that takes an AR style grip or something similar might not be too difficult to modify.

Howdy folks, I'm sure this has been asked before, but my ffl (west coast armory) says I need to pay a 35 dollar fee for using their kiosk for my direct from silencershop purchase. They said they silencer shop charges them this fee and it's my job to cover it. On silencer shops website it has the above passage ^

A) am I correct in understanding that I don't need to pay this fee?

B) if I am correct, how can I go about correcting this issue?

Kinda proud of what I've cobbled together through things on sale :) better ear pro is next. any recommendations for a belt and owb holster for my cz75?
