Basically I want to study occupational therapy and have been accepted to go to Coventry (my insurance choice) this September. The trouble is, I have been to Coventry uni and the vibes are just not it for me, I can’t put it into words but the thought of going off to Coventry in a months time just kinda makes me sad.

Although, I tried to do OT in Swansea through clearing and they rejected me but gave me an alternative offer. They have said that I can do a year of a health and social care course there, and then apply to do occupational therapy next year and I’m guaranteed a spot on the course as long as I pass the OT interview. I’m really stuck because I like Swansea, as a uni and a place far more than I like Coventry but is going to Swansea too much of a risk and a waste of a year of my life?

Any advice greatly appreciated

I was looking back on videos I took from when I went to see them in London on the 26th June and while I had a load of fun and it was a once in a lifetime experience, I couldn’t help but notice Alex’s lack of energy. Like he literally just stands there and sings. There is no energy or passion like at all. I’m not expecting him to be like doing cartwheels around the stage and all but like especially compared to the supporting acts he was as still as a statue

First of all, I have to say that the film portrays Bear as a well meaning, innocent but slightly awkward guy, much like many men are these days. The film then goes on to say how men like this cannot be trusted!

Genuinely how do people expect men to find female partners in this day and age when media like obsession is telling women to be afraid of all men, even those that don’t seem that threatening at first?!? Nowadays most men can get put in jail and accused of all sorts of heinous crimes against women for merely approaching them and doing nothing wrong, all it takes is an accusation to ruin an entire man’s life.

Obsession just ends up grouping awkward and innocent men with rapists.

Obviously I’m not defending Bear and his actions but I will say that Obsession just gives women more reasons to demonise and hate men for no reason other than that it’s funny or that they feel like it.

Just curious really

Basically, my car started making a weird whirring noise that got quieter as i went up gears and it also vibrated quite heavily in 2nd and 3rd gear. I (very foolishly) ignored it and continued to drive. I then couldnt put my car into gear at all and if i tried to put it into 1st and drive, my car made a harsh grinding noise and would not move. Oddly enough i could then go into 3rd gear and only 3rd gear which is how i managed to move it to safety. Can anyone diagnose the issue?

I want to skip seeing garage flower but still see the Royston club and was wondering, if I do this will I be really far back/have a bad view?
I was just wondering what times people are planning on getting there especially since I don’t want to be stood in 30+ degree heat for over 7 hours!
