new lash tech did the opposite of what i wanted

i like to get lash extensions and have been going to the same lash tech for about a year. she does a wonderful job with my extensions and did almost exactly what i wanted but it wasn't exact (i kept asking if she could make them a little fuller than she usually did and she would say okay and then never did).

i decided to find someone else to do my lashes so that i could have what i asked for. i found a girl in my town and she was so sweet and had a lot of great reviews and her work looked really good and she even had photos up of exactly what i wanted done. i went to my appointment this morning and i was there for three hours. i have never sat for more than one and a half so i was very hopeful. and when she showed me what she did i was very disappointed to say the least. i asked for short full cateye style extensions and she gave me long FULL (very dense) almost manga style extensions ?

i didn't want to be rude so i said i liked them, paid and left a tip, and got out of there.

i know she will follow up with me and ask how theyre holding up and will also follow up for a fill in appointment but i honestly do not want to go back. she and i are now mutuals on instagram, should i just go ghost and block her? should i tell her i lied and that i don't actually like them? i don't want to be mean as this took a long time and they aren't BAD they just arent what i asked for and are completely not my style.

help please💔

automatic litter boxes

hihi!! my bf recently got a cat (maybe four months ago?) and has been saying he wants an automatic litter box. i keep seeing really mixed reviews about all kinds of automatic litter boxes but i was wondering if anyone in this sub could recommend any they like or let me know of any they wouldn't recommend. im hoping to find something thats $200 or less but am open to pricier ones if you guys really think its worth it. thanks sm!! :33

compatible nano fish

I recently got a pretty big tank (i think its a 65 gal tall) and ive been thinking about putting smaller fish in it rather than keeping larger ones. i suppose my questions about this are:
is it okay to keep small fish in a tank this big? and if so, what fish live well together? i was thinking of getting smaller schooling fish like tetras, danios, maybe even some guppies.

edit: do any of you think adding in shrimp or snails of any kind could work or is there any chance they just wouldn't get along with the fish

thanks for whatever advice you guys have!!:)

mold...?

hihi, i just recently made a sourdough starter (maybe a month and a half ago) and i forgot to feed it yesterday so i went to feed it just now and noticed this orange spot. is it mold or possibly some kind of bacteria? my starter isn't actually green lol its just the lighting but im not sure if i should bother feeding it or if i should just toss it and start over.

the fuzz around the rim is from paper towel that got stuck and ripped off (happened just before i took the photo)
