It’s an ARCADE racing game not a real life simulation

Ramming is fun ,makes the game more enjoyable for me, if you disagree you’re the type of person that would cry about being rammed in Mario kart, go play Forza motorsport or something is you want boring races.

Best FRA lounge for plane spotting during a layover?

Hey everyone,

I’m flying WRO → FRA → NCE with Lufthansa and I’ve got a layover in Frankfurt from 11:55 to 16:40.

I’d like to spend some time in a lounge, but I’m also hoping to do a bit of plane spotting while I’m there ideally somewhere with good apron/runway views.
Both flights should be Schengen.

Any recommendations for the best lounge for views and chilling during this connection?
Thanks!

Born in Scotland in 2005 – do I have any route to British citizenship?

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2005 to Polish parents, who moved to the UK in 2003. I lived in Scotland until 2017, when my family moved back to Poland.

I've always had Polish citizenship and have never had a British passport.

From what my parents have told me, they weren't British citizens when I was born, but they later obtained the legal right to live permanently in the UK under the immigration rules that applied at the time.

I'm planning to move back to Edinburgh in the future, so I'd really like to find out whether I have any route to British citizenship before making those plans.

I've been trying to understand the British nationality rules, but they seem quite complicated.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows whether someone in my circumstances could still be eligible to register as a British citizen?

I'd really appreciate any advice or if anyone can point me towards the relevant legislation or guidance.

Thanks in advance!

Moving to Denmark from Poland

Hi everyone,

I'm a Polish citizen and my wife and I have been seriously considering moving to Denmark in the future to build our lives, raise our children, and contribute to Danish society.

We've always admired many aspects of Denmark – the work-life balance, focus on family, trust in society, and the overall quality of life. We see Denmark as a place where we could build a stable future and give our future children a great environment to grow up in.

If we make the move, we would fully commit to learning Danish, understanding the culture, and becoming part of the local community. We'd love to participate in Danish traditions, celebrations, and everyday life rather than living in an expat bubble.

Our goal wouldn't simply be to live in Denmark, but to become active members of society and contribute through our work, taxes, community involvement, and by raising our family there.

We're also Christians, so Denmark's cultural and historical Christian heritage is something that appeals to us, even though we understand Danish society is generally quite secular today.

I'm curious about how Polish people are generally viewed in Denmark today. Have your experiences with Polish immigrants been mostly positive, negative, or mixed? Do you think Danes appreciate newcomers who make an effort to learn the language, contribute to society, and integrate into the local community?

And on a lighter note: we're both LEGO fans and collectors, so perhaps we're already halfway to becoming Danish. 😄

I'd be grateful for any honest opinions or advice, whether positive or critical. I'd much rather hear the reality than a sugar-coated version.
Thank you!

Edinburgh

Last year I went on a trip to Edinburgh and took some pictures of things we have in FH4. I still wish the Forth bridges were drivable :((
