I spam L1 a million times at my static players and they do this 2 centimeter jog, then stop.

and if they do begin to move more, they run into a player and stop, and im like MOOOVE ASSHOLE and the player just stands there as i spam L1 and he/she begins some pathetic jogging.

I also need to have more than just one player making a run, and if i do spam for my entire team to move with L1, they're like, naaaah, you can just have one as they stand still doing nothing.

Playing football is so hard under these circumstances.

Also, that half second delay on passes are a real killer too

I am so curious what people like or hate about 1v1 this patch

but I told her that I find an endless amount of more enjoyment in sarcastically spamming ''GREAT SHOT'' and ''NICE PASS'' in 5v5.

''What was that?!!!'' was also an amazing inclusion.

Literally 50% of my successful tackles in this stressful game ends up as clearances out the sideline.

It's just as aids as tackling in fifa when the ball rebounds back to the attacker, just a different package.

I'm not even panic spamming, yet I get punished for my absolutely amazing, perfectly timed manual standing tackles.

60% of the successful standing tackles leads to my player shooting/clearing the ball, and I see many others do the same.

All we need is for L2 (jockey button) to disable shoot button while held down.

This problem has existed since peak Fifa days, and nobody has cared to fix it.

My attackers win every 50/50 lofted throughball, and if i use my 97 pace 94 dribbling epic card, i can run faster with the ball than almost any defender without ball and just Ibarbo it through everyone and score.

I take back what I previously said about the game not being fast paced enough now.

Pace has NEVER been more back, gentlemen

First match, me and my opponent were trading kick off goals through the middle. Both because pace is crazy strong and there is literally no defense in the middle of the pitch unless you really fight for your life to compress your team into the middle. He quit when i got the 3rd kick off, making it 3-2. I think we both thought this was stupid.

Next match, I've warmed up and are ready to minimize kick-off shenanigans, but this time, both me and my opponent had like 2 goals each where we block off all logical passing lanes, and then when we press the through ball button, the game finds some 90000 IQ path which no player in the world could see or block.

My last through ball goal was me just lazily pressing the throughball button while in the midfield with a bunch of players blocking the entire distance between where i was and the opponents goal, and the ball takes off and finds some ridiculous path and i get a free goal. We both spam ''No Way''.

I've had a few attempts at doing a through ball, expecting it to work like in the old days, and it tries to do something overintelligent and it goes straight to the opponent.

Even the regular passing is becoming like EAFC, where you try passing at a blocked lane, and the pass avoids the player trying to intercept it.

Not sure I like how extremely fragile the defense is now either.. but might be a skill issue..

Am I the only one who think the game was way better many patches ago?

1. Holding LT/L2 while defending and doing standing tackle or slide tackle will disable the shoot/cross button so you don't shoot the ball a split second after getting the ball
2. Passing direction mainly decided by direction of analogue stick (imagine that)
3. A button that pulls every idiot out of offside
4. More responsive RB/R1 button, and increase the range of how close they can come to you.
5. Get rid of EAFC through balls
6. Players retiring faster... possibly with rewards being better
7. Standing tackle range increased a little

Since you love EAFC so much, with the EAFC passes and throughballs that avoid the interceptions: I think you should steal the 'Player Selection Marker' on the opponent being visible feature also.

Then you can easily tell if the opponent is actually defending or using second man press spam, so you can just run through.

Sidenote: With the standing tackle nerf, using a 50 rated defender card was absolute torture.
