Alpha-gal: no beef, no pork restaurants?

I know this is a weird one, but my mother-in-law will be visiting and has alpha-gal so she can’t have beef or pork. It’s not a big deal, we can eat at home but I figured I’d ask. Right now all I could think of was vegetarian or vegan places.

Vet for dog tooth extraction

My gf’s dog needs a tooth removed. Last time we were in Tennessee when he had one removed and it was $250 to put him under and take the tooth out. We don’t expect to pay such a low amount but we were quoted $900-$1500 which was a huge difference. We can travel if needed

27 months of G.I. Bill left, 40% disability, wanting to go to college. Any advice?

I’m planing to go back to college to get a degree in finance. I live in the Tampa Bay Area and have realized you can’t make it far without a degree. Just wanted some insight from veterans in finance. If you could do it all over again, what would you do? I’m open to exploring any and all options.

Car sales to barber school

I know this is a hairstylist group but wanted to get opinions, and different views.

So a little background. I grew up in a hair salon, cut a little in the military, worked at Davines and Aveda.

I have a little adhd when it comes to jobs. Done a little bit of everything it feels like, and nothing has stuck. I love car sales but since moving to Florida it’s a different animal, and it’s affecting my relationship. My girlfriend suggested I check out barbering since I’m familiar with it.

I have a few different options in st. Pete, Fl and the G.I. Bill so it shouldn’t be a problem. My biggest concerns are: 1. learning what I need to learn so I don’t waste my benefits, 2. Income.

For school my choices are: local college SPCT, American institute of beauty, and Aveda. (I’m leaning towards Aveda because I’d want more time learning shear work)

My mom probably scraped $40k a year a a cosmetologist but she didn’t put in the effort like my old boss at Davines who made 6 figures. I think $70k is what I’d aim for and believe I could do that no problem.

Other questions I have:
What does your income look like?
What do your hours look like?
What would you have done different?

Sunglasses comparable to Maui Jim

I’ve been a Maui Jim fan and owner for many years but recently needed to use the warranty because a screw kept backing out and today I chipped a lens. They want $90 for two lenses and shipping insurance. I really can’t justify spending that much when I just bought them a couple months ago.

My main wants are comparable with polarizing

Hinges

Ability to be repaired at home

A warranty would be nice

Kia customers vs other brands customers.

I started at Kia, left and went to Nissan in another state then moved back and got rehired.

Nissan customers were a delight, for the most part they knew what they wanted and didn’t sweat the small stuff.

Kia on the other hand they demand unreasonable amounts off, shop around like crazy, and switch cars.

I’m curious if it’s the brand or the people

To add I worked at Nissan in west Tennessee, and Kia in southwest Florida

I moved to st. Pete Florida and was curious about buying a house with my VA Loan. I did some calculations and figured a $300,000 house with property taxes and insurance would cost about $2,500 a month. Does that sound right?
