This is the loudest noise i’ve ever heard from a laptop. Is it the fan? What do I do? Should I bring it in to a shop to get it fixed or would that just be a waste of money? It’s an Omen 15.
I lost my last light, so I wasn’t able to search very well and took a break from hunting. This was my first trip back to the flea market. Lid was labeled as Green Depression Glass Lid, $8. Cup was labeled Small Yellow Glass Decorative Cup, $4. I think the lid is to the Jeanette Poinsetta Pattern Vegetable Bowl and the cup is some kind of Thorium? Lid is pictured under 395 and cup is pictured under 365
I’ve lived in my hometown my entire life. I spent two years at college in a city about two hours away, but other than that, I have only ever lived in this boring and dying town. I hate it but I don’t know how to leave. My aunt and I took a trip to the DFW area earlier this year, and I fell in love. I felt more at home than my actual home.
My mom wouldn’t be a big fan of me moving that far (7 hour drive), but I know she’d support me no matter what. I’ve looked into apartments and found a good selection of ones that fit what I’m looking for. My job is remote, so I’d most likely just have to swap to a different team based near Dallas/Fort Worth instead of finding a new job (I’ve asked my manager, he’ll get back to me). I can afford the apartments and still have money for loans, food, subscriptions, and to add to my savings.
I guess my question is how I can leave with my current living situation.
I moved into an apartment with my best friend in February. With the way her and her mom did it, im not on the lease, but am listed as an occupant. From my understanding, I can leave whenever seeing as I have no written contract with the landlord on my end. Personally, I would not have moved then and would have kept living at my mom’s for as long as I needed, but my friend almost had no choice. Her and her mom lived in an apartment, but her mom was desperate to move out and live with her boyfriend, so the timeline got sped up. There was no way she could afford an apartment by herself. So, because of this, I feel trapped. I finally have the ability and resources to leave, but with my friend not making enough money to the point that she is still struggling, even with me paying half the rent, I can’t leave. If I did, i’d be throwing her into the deep end with nothing to help her.
I just need some ideas or advice.

Recently got our Rocky boy from some friends who weren’t able to give him the attention he needed. He’s about 13wks old and around 20lbs. He is the smartest dog I have ever owned, even at his young age. He got sit and down perfected immediately, and even though he’s very food motivated, he learned “leave it” very quickly. We think he’s got some bigger breed in him (our suspicion is some Great Dane) due to his very large feet. We only saw a glance of the parents, but mom looked like a merle pitbull and dad looked like a black lab/dane mix. Will definitely be getting a test for him soon.
