Is it a horse or a cow?
QH people… please explain to this European person why halter QHs look like beef cattle, and are so dangerous they need a gum chain to stand still.

Because dulux is absolutely shockingly bad.
And honestly I’m only using the white emulsion as an undercoat for Valspar custom mix as the walls were grubby and sun faded after a previous tenant.
I’ve done 2 coats of the Dulux and it’s still as patchy as all get out, and yes, I’m sure it’s also user error as I’ve not had much practice, but I’m beginning to tear my hair out!
Thanks…
Relevant details: plaster walls and ceiling, pre-painted with matte emulsion. Applying the white Dulux with a 9” roller on a 1.5m extension pole because I’m short, and I can’t reach the top of the wall without getting on a step.
Today I am officially post-menopause.
Not a single spot of blood in 365 days.
I’m now hoping that my GP will actually prescribe me some hormones to deal with the hot flushes/sweats/ downstairs dryness and almost complete lack of libido.
I like sex. I love orgasms, and I’ve almost completely lost interest, and even when I am interested it takes me forEVER to get switched on and then most of the time orgasm never happens.
I feel like I should do something to celebrate achieving this next stage of my life… but I can’t seem to get interested in that either!
(To note, I’m in the UK, and space is at an absolute premium, measurements might seem small compared to US-standard)
Whoever designed the kitchen of the house I’m moving into obviously didn’t spend a lot of time in a kitchen
I’m not in a position to fully remodel right now, so looking for quick and easy solutions to maximise storage as there is extremely little cupboard space, and even less bench space.
My biggest bugbear is the kitchen sink which has 50cm of blind space, that can only be accessed by getting down on your hands and knees to reach around the corner, so it’s basically dead space, and currently used for storing spare kitchen rolls and bulk bought cleaning supplies - things you aren’t going to need very often. But getting to them is still a pain.
I had thought about installing one of those kidney-shaped pull out carousel thingymebobs, but was unsure how this would actually work with the underside of the sink and the drainage gubbins. (Basic U-bend, no garbage disposal)
I have internal measurements of everything, but unsure how to go about retrofitting e.g. pull out drawers instead of shelving to ensure components are compatible, as I don’t know who fitted the kitchen to begin with.
My last kitchen I was able to build from the ground up as I had a completely blank canvas to work from (and a lot more money!)
How do other people solve the issue of a blind cabinet beside a sink?
TIA :)
I’m going round and round in circles on the HMRC app and can’t find a way to actually speak to a real person, rather than a bot.
Has anyone applied to be a sole trader whilst also in a salaried role?
I would just try eBay, but I can’t compete with the drop shippers and wholesalers. (I’m destashing jewellery making items, so mostly cabs and findings, some fabric/dress making things etc). And Vinted banned me until I go Pro.
I honestly don’t mind the extra paperwork it will take to file tax returns - my business expenses will be limited to packaging materials as I’m not a reseller, everything I’m selling was initially bought for personal use, and never got around to it. But I have a *lot*, and with a house move just around the corner, I’m trying to reduce my general “stuff” as I won’t have the storage space in my new digs.
I’ve decided I actually like the coach, and now that I’ve been able to change the landing page to the data that I really want to see I’m much happier with the app overall
Hi!
I’m about to order myself a Paramo Alta III (ladies), and I was hoping for some advice on what size to get.
- this is a replacement, as I previously had an Alta III, but I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, and my local supply shop has closed so I can’t try one on in person any more :(
Right now I’m a size 6/8 (32-24-33), and didn’t know whether to get an XS or an S.
I was hoping to order today, as I have a walk on on Sunday and right now I don’t have a suitable waterproof (my “temporary replacement” is fur/fleece lined and I’ll melt if I try to walk in that right now!)
Scenic pic for tax… (before I lost weight, and in my previous Alta III)
