What do you think Riot is doing with Jinx ult?

What do you think Riot is doing with Jinx ult?

In the last two Wild Rift videos about upcoming changes, Riot did not actively talk about Jinx’s ultimate, but it was shown so often that it made me wonder if something bigger is coming.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it feels like they are teasing a major change to Jinx ult. One idea I had is that it could somehow interact with crit rate, or maybe they are changing how the execute/scaling works.

I don’t think Riot would show it that much by accident, especially across multiple videos.

What do you think?
Is Riot cooking something for Jinx, or am I just seeing rockets everywhere because I’m a Jinx main? xD

Domination runes got hit in Patch 7.2 — which nerf hurts the most?

Chain Assault, Empowered Attack, Eyeball Collector, Sudden Impact, Tyrant, and Zombie Ward all got adjusted, and most of them look like clear damage/scaling nerfs.

For me, the Domination tree feels like it loses a lot of snowball power after these changes.

Which Nerf do you think will matter the most?

Every Key Rune got hit in Patch 7.2 — which one hurts the most?

Patch 7.2 will hit every Key Rune in Wild Rift, with nerfs and adjustments to damage, scaling, cooldowns, and overall value.

Will Cho’Gath Be Too Big for Wild Rift?

Cho’Gath is officially coming to Wild Rift, and I’m really curious how Riot is going to balance him for mobile.

His kit brings a lot: sustain from passive, knock-up, silence, empowered attacks, and Feast — an execute ultimate that lets him stack and grow bigger over time.

On PC, Cho’Gath can become massive, but Wild Rift has smaller maps, faster fights, and less screen space. So my question is:

Will Cho’Gath be too big for Wild Rift, or will Riot scale him down properly?

I read the Patch 7.1h notes so you don't have to. Here's what actually matters.

Quick summary of the biggest changes:

• Thresh gets more damage, but weaker lantern shielding
• Nunu loses damage, healing, and snowball poke
• Nautilus jungle clear and shield got heavily nerfed
• Skarner gets buffs to scaling, regen, damage, and slows
• Gnar gets tankier in Mega form and deals more max health damage
• Sona and Seraphine get stronger teamfight utility
• Taliyah loses movement speed and clear pressure
• Chemtech Chainsword now gives 400 health

This patch feels like Riot is trying to slow down jungle tanks while giving some picks like Skarner, Gnar, Thresh, Sona, and Seraphine a reason to exist again.

Will Yunara Become the Next Must-Pick or Must-Ban Hyper-Carry?

Meet Yunara, the next marksman coming to Wild Rift.

With mixed damage, splash attacks, and a transcendent ultimate that empowers her entire kit, Yunara has the tools to become one of Wild Rift’s scariest late-game hyper-carries.

In this quick breakdown, you’ll see:

✅ How Yunara’s passive works
✅ What her transcendent ultimate does
✅ How each ability changes during her empowered state
✅ Why she could shake up the bot lane meta

⚠️ Yunara has been shown by Riot, but she is not live yet. Some details may still change before she arrives on live servers.

Do you think Yunara will be healthy for Wild Rift, or is she already looking like a future perma-ban ADC?

You Can Only Pick ONE Active Item 👀

Boot enchantments are officially becoming full items in Wild Rift, and that changes everything.

In this short, I break down some of the new active items coming to the game:

Hextech Rocketbelt for mobility and burst.
Gargoyle Stoneplate for tank shields.
Redemption for healing and utility.
Locket of the Iron Solari for team protection.
Shurelya’s Battlesong for movement speed.
Galeforce for ADC mobility and execute damage.
Advance to Sabotage for attack-speed fighters.
Bladebike’s Oath Axe for bruisers and sustain.

You can only equip ONE active item at a time.

No more getting powerful actives almost for free through your boots. Every active now competes for a valuable item slot, forcing players to make real decisions based on their champion, role, and game state.

Stasis is leaving boots in Wild Rift. Is Zhonya's Hourglass worth an item slot?

A main change on the PBE is Stasis leaving the boot enchantment system. Instead of buying Stasis through boots, you'll build Explorer's Armguard and later upgrade it into Zhonya's Hourglass.

Explorer's Armguard:

• 35 AP

• 20 Armor

• Stasis Active

Zhonya's Hourglass:

• 110 AP

• 40 Armor

• Stasis Active

Personally, I don't think the question is whether Zhonya is strong... Stasis has always been one of the most powerful actives in League. The real question is whether it's worth giving up a full item slot for it.

Right now, almost every champion can access Stasis through boots with very little opportunity cost. If these changes go live, buying Zhonya means giving up another full item in your build.

QSS Is Becoming a REAL Item in Wild Rift

Mercury Ribbon and Mercurial Scimitar have been spotted on the PBE.

Instead of buying Quicksilver from your boots, you'll now build a dedicated anti-CC item path that grants Magic Resistance, Lifesteal, Attack Damage, and a powerful cleanse active.

⚠️ PBE footage. Everything is subject to change.

👀 This is only one part of the new Active Item Rework coming to Wild Rift.

I covered ALL the new items, how they work, and what replacing boot enchantments could mean for the game in my full breakdown:

PBE dropped 7 new AP items... which one do you think will have the biggest impact?

PBE introduced 7 brand-new AP items:

🔥 Blackfire Torch – Burn damage, bonus monster damage, and extra Ability Power for affecting multiple targets.

⚔️ Dusk & Dawn – After casting an ability, your next attack triggers on-hit effects an additional time.

🌩️ Stormsurge – Burst enemies hard enough to mark them for an explosion, gain movement speed, and even earn bonus gold if they die before it detonates.

🟣 Void Staff – Finally arriving in Wild Rift with 95 Ability Power and 40% magic penetration.

🌸 Metamorphosis – Turn takedowns into teamfight sustain by triggering a healing nova for nearby allies.

🩸 Bloodletter's Curse – Health, Ability Power, Skill Haste, and gradual Magic Resist shred for extended fights.

🛡️ Banshee's Veil – A spell shield capable of blocking the next enemy ability and potentially deciding an entire fight.

Everything shown here is currently from the China PBE, which means numbers, effects, and even the items themselves could still change before release.

Would Tier 3 Boots actually improve Wild Rift... or are we overcomplicating things?

After looking through the China PBE changes, here's the quick version:

• Berserker's Greaves become a late-game DPS monster with Attack Speed, Physical Vamp, on-hit healing, and bonus movement speed.

• Plated Steelcaps and Mercury's Treads evolve into real defensive powerhouses, adding stronger damage reduction, Tenacity, and shields that scale with your Health.

• Gluttonous Greaves turn into a sustain-focused raid boss item.

• Dynamism Boots become a terrifying offensive option with huge Attack Damage and both flat and percentage Armor Penetration.

• Mana Boots gain both flat and percentage Magic Penetration, while Ionian Boots push utility even further with more Ability Haste and Summoner Spell value.

The more I looked at these changes, the less they felt like "just stronger boots." They feel like an entirely new layer of late-game itemization.

So I'm curious:

Would you embrace Tier 3 Boots...

Or would you trade them all to bring Homeguard back?

And if you want to watch the full AI slop footwear review I made about it, here's the video: 😂

What Do You Think About Knockdown Being Added to Wild Rift?

With Knockdown potentially coming to Wild Rift, I started wondering how many players actually know the difference between Hard CC, Soft CC, and now Knockdown.

From what we've seen so far, Knockdown is being added to:

* 🦊 Ahri – Charm

* ⛓️ Veigar – Event Horizon

* 🤕 Amumu – Curse of the Sad Mummy

* 💥 Jinx – Flame Chompers

* ❄️ Lissandra – Frozen Tomb

* 👁️ Vex – Doom 'n Gloom

* ⚙️ Viktor – Gravity Field

* 🐺 Warwick – Infinite Duress

* ⚔️ Yone – Fate Sealed

* 🔨 Poppy – Steadfast Presence

Unlike a normal stun, Knockdown immediately interrupts dashes and forced movement instead of letting them finish first.

Riot hasn't officially confirmed a release date yet. However, according to recent updates from the Chinese PBE, Patch 7.2 is currently scheduled for July 9th. If Knockdown successfully completes testing, that's the most likely patch where we'll see it arrive on live servers.

Do you think Knockdown is a good addition to Wild Rift, or is Riot giving too many tools to anti-mobility champions?

I made a short video explaining the difference between Hard CC and Soft CC while looking into this topic and attached it to the post. Curious to hear what everyone thinks.

Skarner Is Coming to Wild Rift. Do You Think He'll Be Overpowered?

Skarner is coming to Wild Rift soon, and after looking through his kit, he seems to have a little bit of everything.

Damage based on maximum health. A shield and slow. The ability to pass through terrain. A stun and an ultimate that lets him suppress and drag enemy champions wherever he wants.

Do you think Skarner will be overpowered?

Viego Resets Don't Remove Kalista Spears

Small interaction I noticed while playing Kalista.

I always assumed Viego's possession would remove Kalista's spears, but apparently they stay on the target even after he takes over a new champion.

It makes me wonder if Kalista is actually one of the better counters to Viego, especially compared to other ADCs.

Did you know about this interaction before?

I Checked the Top 10 ADC Players' Most Played Champions — Here's What the Current Wild Rift ADC Meta Looks Like

I looked at the Top 10 ADC players on the server and recorded their 3 most-played ADC champions.

That gave a sample of 30 champion picks and some interesting insights into the current high-elo ADC meta.

A few champions showed up far more often than expected, while some traditional hypercarries appeared much less than many players would assume.

Curious if your experience matches what high-elo ADCs are actually playing right now. 👊

This is a short breakdown of the results and what they might mean for the current ADC meta.

The Best ADC Advice Has Nothing To Do With Mechanics

Most ADC guides focus on mechanics, builds, and champion picks. In this video I wanted to talk about something less obvious: how your relationship with your support can affect your lane. A simple "wp" or "nice play" can completely change the atmosphere of a game and often leads to better teamwork and communication. Curious if other ADC and support players have noticed the same thing.

How Dragon Soul Really Works (Part 2)

Dragon Soul is one of the biggest win conditions in Wild Rift — and most players still underestimate how game changing it really is.

Infernal, Mountain and Ocean Souls all completely change the way teamfights work.

In this short, we break down:
🔥 Infernal Soul
⛰️ Mountain Soul
🌊 Ocean Soul

and why high elo teams fight so hard for drakes.
