I think that Harry lived the life Diana wanted, found true love and separated himself to an extent from the press and the restrictions of the monarchy.

However, would he have felt compelled to do this, had he not A/ lost her and B/ lost her due to the reasons he did.

In an alternate reality where Diana is still with us, do you think Harry would still have gone down this path, or would he have married another blonde named Tilly who he was introduced to at polo or something, and remained fully within the monarchy.

There is the argument that he would always have resentment towards William due to being the ‘spare’, and I don’t see William becoming so vastly different to who he is now. So would they still have had issues?

We know that according to Rolling Stone she recorded So American after GUTS release, so around September 2023.

We also know that she had already teased Purple Version 1, Drop Dead Version 1, Honeybee, Maggots for Brains, My Way and Stupid Song in June-Aug 2025.

We know she had written The Cure by around Oct 2025 latest because this was around the time she had her British Vogue interview and played her Drop Dead, The Cure and Maggots for Brains. She said in this interview she had wrapped 70% of the album.

We know Less, Cigarette Smoke and Never Do were last minute additions, and she reworked What’s Wrong With Me, Purple, and Drop Dead. We know she wrote Begged before Dec 2025 (as it was written during the relationship).

I say this to say, I am surprised by how early on she had written the majority of this album. Is this common for artists?

TLDR: They broke up because Olivia got upset that he had to film for a month in the UK, as is his job, while she wanted to write in LA.

So, I have seen some comments on this sub requesting a timeline of when they actually dated. Since I have severe autism special interest and ADHD hyperfixation, I have succeeded in creating one. I will put in bold when they are together. Also the dates might not make logistical sense with flight times, but it's a general estimate based on tour dates and photos we have.

It won't be perfect but should give you an idea.

• 2023:
• Aug 13: She goes to Chelsea game in London. Conan is also in London.
• Aug 14: She posts selfie with Joe Locke in London, an actor and mutual friend of Louis.
• First meeting:
• Aug 15: She also posts a TikTok of a London bus. She wears 6 outfits in 24 hours. • Oct 27 2023: She is photographed in London with a fan and Louis.
• Oct 28: This is the famous Halloween party where most people learned of them dating. He was in the background of her fan photos and they were photographed holding hands. Their mutual friends Joe Locke and Conan are also there.

First off, love the album and I do like the Cure. I’m just surprised it was chosen as a lead single and even more surprised that Olivia says it’s her reminder she can write a great song and that her team all considered it the best track on the album. I find the concept a bit juvenile and the lyrics under-developed.
