STEWARD? WTH?

HE CANT BE SERIOUS 😂😂 His greed knows no bounds!!! HAHAHA

The flow is strong enough btw don't worry! He was just craving the ascension into the source of his yummies. He flopped right back into the Tank when i tapped on the lid LOL.

This is hilarious

Regarding witnessing Toxic Behaviour

Hello fellow Shrimppeeps!

We sadly had a resurgence of hateful or straight up violent posts and comments and I wanted to apologize. We want to make this space a welcome one for all our Shrimplovers without nastiness and us Mods try our hardest to react in time.

Sadly, sometimes those Posts slip through and tend to stay up for atleast some Minutes. I want to take this time to remember everyone about our behavioural guidelines (tho I doubt our Members need that!) And point towards the ability to temporarily remove Posts and Comments that you all have. After three reports we get notified, with 5 the Posts will be removed and pend investigation until a Mod can clear it up and react. I would like to ask everyone to use this feature!

The replies i have seen to these aforementioned Posts or Comments have been civil but direct and I want to thank everyone for that.

Let's keep it cozy! 🦐

Shout out to my dad for protecting my Shrimp

I just wanna spread a bit of positivity: my father doesn't really get fishkeeping but he accepts that i care for them fishies and even remembers their names and works on DIY's with me for my Tanks...

And if he sprays anti-insect-spray in their bedrooms he makes sure to always alert me and close both doors (the Tanks are in the Room right next to it) 🥺

Thanks Dad!

Ain't this a big boi?

Got him since he was a wee plant and he's been quite happy with my subpar care for years now. He has had 4 offshoots i will repot!

He is flowering every year, sometimes twice. He makes me happy!

Snaiggles 🥹

I dunno what they are up to, there is definitely no food there. Just some snuggle bugs!

These are Cappuccino Snails and i love em dearly. Feed mostly on Aufwuchs and soft algaes, mine refuse food mostly actually and prefer the glass. The Tank has 2 Glasssides that is kept full with algae for them to munch on!!

Regarding the damaged shells: this was predone damage (wild caught) and sadly the first Tank was a bit too soft for em. As soon as i saw further degradation, i moved them in here which is my hardwater stiphodon Tank 💜

Being able to see your Fish is overrated

Showing of Cheddar, the spoiled son

What should the white Stripe stand for? My opinion on the matter.

Aside the whole other Flag topic, many do agree that we could maybe adjust the meaning of the white stripe (which originally stood for allies).

So, i am leading the charge in the matter.

# The white Stripe in the Asexual Flag should stand for GARLIC.

Please do share your own totally serious ideas, respectfully 😎🧄

(This is meant as a lighthearted joke to combat the loaded mood that arises with the topic as a whole, no matter on who you agree with!)

Let me note: i have been a keeper for 3 years now, i am *not* a beginner, just for my wording going forward

This is Cheese, my beloved Honey dame. She started rocking back and forth two days ago. I proceeded to check the water (as always, tds 160, gh 6, kh 4) and i did a 25% water change with similar parameters and temperature, slowly.

I added ectopur from sera for stress reduction, as rocking is mostly caused by bad water quality (which i really don't think is the cause) or neurological issues (this is what i am leaning towards). I kept lights off to reduce stimulation. She started suddenly with no prior signs of illness. Everyone else is completely fine.

I just woke up to this. I am ngl i am shocked, horrified and speechless. I don't know what to do.

My instinct is to euthanise, to end that. That is horrific. I don't know if those are wounds, because all other Fish are leaving her alone. Only "dangerous" Fish in there is her partner male Honey.

If these are wounds, they are likely because she is actively dying.

Am I being cruel for... giving up on her? Should I try salt baths? Anything...?
