I think with Andrew’s range this would be just phenomenal, what do you think?

The best solution to the issue of Three Houses having 4 routes with different endings and Fortune’s Weave potentially being a sequel is… going the Life is Strange 2 approach?

Simply ask at the beginning of a playthrough “Have you played Fire Emblem: Three Houses?” and then allow the player to select from Azure Moon, Verdant Wind, Silver Snow, and Crimson Flower. From there, the game doesn’t even need to create 4 new routes from these prior endings. It can simply alter some events acknowledged in game, maybe some units you see or don’t (such as descendants), and maybe an additional cutscene or whatever.

But there, it wouldn’t have to be this huge thing that would cost a ridiculous amount of money and development time? It’s very doable, especially with this game undoubtedly having the largest budget in fire emblem history.

If the player hasn’t played Three Houses, it may just default to Azure Moon or Silver Snow was my guess.

If they were really crazy, they could go further and allow you to choose which characters survived or not in your playthrough. I doubt they would but it could be really cool, maybe there’d be some books we find of our characters in an even further timeskip (like 30s) post three houses ending?

I am extremely sure that Byleth will be appearing in Fortune’s Weave somehow. So another thought is that what they acknowledge from their life is based on this choice as well. I don’t think such a choice is that hard to add, when we choose Byleth’s gender to begin with even in Three Hopes where we also had Shez and voice acting.

Do you think this is a good idea? Or would you prefer this game to never mention anything about your play through, just go full tears of the kingdom and never acknowledge it? (I’d genuinely hate that personally) Or.. would you prefer a game where each route is exclusively a sequel route to one of Three Houses’? (Assuming the game has routes, which I’m under the assumption it likely is extremely ambitious so it wouldn’t surprise me)
