Embodying True Kshatrani Dharma:Nishita Rajput’s One-Woman Crusade to Educate 35,000+ daughters.
I'm here highlighting a living example of a true Kshatrani. Nishita Rajput from Vadodara, Gujarat, has ensured the future of more than 35,000 underprivileged girls by covering their school fees.
In this mission her father Gulab singh ji supported her, he actively backed her up, stood by her, and raised a daughter who actually fights for the vulnerable.
I don't want to debate on if love jehad is real or not..... But this recent Kota case is actually concerning topic for all of us Rajasthanis.

I think its the right time to post this since Ram Mandir Trust has now been exposed with crores of money fraud (which apparently got zero Rajputs). BTW, the person speaking in the video is a Brahmin (Santosh Dubey Ayodhya) and not a Rajput....

History often remembers the photograph of the surrender, but it frequently forgets the blood, grit, and relentless drive of the men who forced that very surrender.
This is the untold story of Lt Col Himmeth Singh Ajairajpura, the 4 Guards (1 Rajput), and a lightning campaign that altered the geography of the subcontinent, only for its chief architect to be quietly sidelined when the medals were handed out.

From the Jungles to the Border: Witnessing the Horror
Before the war officially broke out, the 4 Guards were hardened by harsh counter-insurgency operations deep in the jungles of Mizoram. As tensions escalated, they were rapidly repositioned to the East Pakistan border.
What they saw there erased any doubt about the necessity of the coming war. The battalion witnessed first-hand the sheer brutality of the Pakistan Army against Bengali civilians—mass executions, widespread rape, and a systemic genocide that demanded an immediate, overwhelming response.

Tally Ho" & The Lightning Advance
On December 1, 1971, the radio crackled with a single, decisive command: "Tally Ho."
Under the cover of darkness, the 4 Guards breached the border. What followed was a masterclass in swift, aggressive mechanized infantry warfare. Instead of getting bogged down in protracted sieges, Lt Col Himmeth Singh pushed his men with terrifying speed and precision.
They shattered the enemy lines, executing a blitzkrieg-style advance through:
Akhaura (A brutal, close-quarters battle)
Brahmanbaria
Ashuganj
Narsingdi
They strategically bypassed heavily fortified Pakistani positions, keeping the enemy completely off-balance, and raced straight for the ultimate prize: the outskirts of Dacca.

The Commander's Vow Under Fire
An army is only as good as the man leading it. Lt Col Himmeth Singh didn't direct this war from a safe bunker; he led from the absolute front.
Despite heavy Pakistani artillery fire and deadly airbursts, he kept his men moving. He was known for his uncompromising discipline, a razor-sharp tactical mind, and an absolute refusal to tolerate dishonor. Standing amidst the chaos of the campaign, he made a solemn vow to his men: He would not shave his beard until Dacca was firmly in Indian hands.
On December 16, 1971, he finally kept that vow.

The Ultimate Triumph
When the Pakistani forces finally collapsed and Lt Gen A.A.K. Niazi surrendered to Lt Gen J.S. Aurora, it was the battle-hardened men of the 4 Guards who were granted the ultimate honor: providing the Guard of Honour at the historic surrender ceremony at the Ramna Race Course.

The Tragedy of Recognition
This is where the story takes a bitter turn. You would expect the commander of the vanguard battalion—the men who literally spearheaded the assault into Dacca—to receive the highest military gallantry awards (Maha Vir Chakra or Param Vir Chakra).
Instead, while others were highly decorated, Lt Col Himmeth Singh was handed a mere "Mention in Dispatches." For a man whose audacious leadership changed the course of military history and expedited the fall of East Pakistan, this lack of recognition was nothing short of a profound disservice. 🎖️

Validation from the Legend Himself
While the official citations failed him, his true validation came from the ground commanders who actually orchestrated the victory.
In a personal letter dated 8th Feb 1972, the legendary Lt Gen Sagat Singh Rathore (GOC, IV Corps) explicitly cemented Himmeth Singh's legacy. Sagat Singh wrote that for the tough Battle of Akhaura, the historic crossing of the Meghna river, and the opposed crossing of the Satlakhya river to enter Dacca:
"You and your Battalion were always in the Van [Vanguard]... I shall forever remember the cheerfulness, boldness, dash and determination displayed by you."

Medals tarnish and rust, but the legacy of men like Lt Col Himmeth Singh Ajairajpura lives forever in the soil they helped liberate.

Strange similarities between Lt. Gen. Hanut Singh & Sip. Milkha Singh: both were Rajputs, both belonged to the Rathore clan, both entered Pakistan, & both earned titles from their enemies for their extraordinary excellence- "Fakhr-e-Hind" & "The Flying Sikh"...
All peasants have united against us-accept it. We may survive for centuries or be the last Rajput generation. Unite through financial, physical & intellectual strength, not cringe senas or flexing. Our identity is already planned for dilution. Stay divided & be helpless when death knocks your doors!
