3.5 Months Post Resection. Need to vent

I had a talocalcaneal resection 3.5 months ago. It has been up and down, and now I’m struggling a lot. Every step I take still hurts. I still can’t work out. I’m worse off than before surgery. I still have a lot of pain, and have issues getting up and standing, to the point where I’m limping. When I stand from sitting, I get sharp pains. My outer foot still hurts, and I have a hard time lifting and rolling my foot forward when walking.

I know it will get better, but it’s hard. Everyone around me seems to think I should be magically healed and better after 3 months. My job gave away my office while I was recovering, and wants to move me to a more physical position (idiots,) and then denied my work accommodation to work remote even though all my tasks are computer based. Now I have to get on disability, and have already been unpaid for weeks and will struggle to pay rent.

The pain is just getting to me. Although I got the resection elsewhere, I’ve developed subtalar joint pain. My doctor thinks it’s because that joint didn’t move properly before surgery. I’m starting to think maybe something is wrong. I had to take a break from PT due to doctors orders, and now I can’t go back as I’m past the 12 week mark. I don’t think I’m walking correctly. My doctor is aware of the pain and gave me a steroid shot. She said I have a ton of scare tissue. The shot has helped, but it’s only taken the pain down a notch. I’m worried, and I just want to cry at this point.

One Year Off Tirz, Sex Drive Still Has Not Returned

Any advice? I’m getting desperate. I’m in my late 20s and getting engaged soon. I’m just not interested at all, and it was absolutely a side affect of the anhedonia I got. The anhedonia has mildly improved, though I believe I have permanently affected my brain. What has helped you?

Getting Traction on Poshmark

I make very quick sales on another app. Usually 1-7 days after listing. But I want to expand and cross list more. I’m going to be honest, I hate poshmark. The UI is awful, everything about it is annoying. The views are low. I have pieces I’ve picked up specifically because they sell well on Posh. Is the only way to get picked up by the algorithm by paying to boost your shop? I really don’t like that, especially because they take 20% already.

I have good brands, prices, professional pictures. Advice?

Average Clothing Selling Rates?

I did depop part time and am moving toward full time. I am used to making sales within 1-7 days, selling items other than clothes. I made a few thousand selling part time and am starting again after a surgery hiatus. I have good luck on depop! Vinted and Posh suck with visibility for me.

However, I am starting to incorporate clothing more into my shop. I am selling it, but notice it does not get as quick of traction as the other items I sell. And they’re cute and trendy pieces! Just wondering, how many days on average does it take for you to sell clothes? My pictures are extremely good and I also use a dress form unless I need to flat lay. One other thing I want to note - I’m not a volume seller. My average sale is around $30. For clothing, I mostly source higher quality pieces like genuine leather or silk, or style based pieces that are in right now. Occasionally picking something up for under $20 profit if I think it will sell.

TLDR; is it worth it to keep incorporating clothes into my sales and how long does it takes you to sell a piece of clothing on average?

Random Issue… Cha Ching Noise Only Works Half the Time?

I need the cha ching noise when I make a sale for my serotonin in these dark times. Does anyone else’s only work half the time? My email will make a noise but not Depop. Ugh 🥹 Not major but it’s the little things!

Had to Share My Unbranded Success!

I have been searching for this $270 Rat and Boa silk dress on multiple reselling sites. I was so desperate I was going to buy a cheap dupe off Thred Up. Then one day it came up into my Daily Edit for $25! The flawed gem condition states it’s because the tag is missing and size was estimated. It’s the real dress and has the material tag stating it’s 100% mulberry silk. Ahhh! So excited
