I started his sub arc a while back but I don't exactly have a goal in mind, I know I want him to go against the eggman empire, but I want him to have a more specific goal in mind other than just destroying random facilities. Also if anyone feels okay I would also like members from the empire try to hunt Metal down.

well this is how most of his adventures start, maybe I'll find something to do here?

((this is the start of a sub arc I want to do with Metal, you can join if you want))
so as some of you may know Metal Sonic's been freed from Robotniks control, the problem is I'm not exactly sure what to do with him at the moment, I want him to fight the Eggman Empire, but I don't want him becoming Shard 2.0 or working with the resistance, I want him to remain morally grey but also be some what dark leaning if that makes sense (basically he's against the empire AND the resistance) I know that G.U.N.'s still an option but I don't know how to feel about Metal joining gun. I just need suggestions
After Metal's defeat on the Eggfleet he descends to MeteorTech Headquarters, not exactly sure what to do with himself now. Emerald and Mecha Sonic gave him the one thing he was searching for his entire life, true freedom, no longer under the doctors control, no longer having that built in inferiority complex he could never over come, the doctor was completely gone from his system, the only problem was:
He knew he couldn't return to Eggman other wise he's get torn appart, but he also knew he couldn't go to his enemies for help
he decided the best course of action was to just sit and wait for things to blow over before he showed himself again
eggman looks at what metal sonic's become
"Great, we're doing this again"

once all your the characters have freed the chao they see the true villain show his face as Neo Metal Sonic, points to the sky he yells his declaration to the world to show his dominance
as the ship explodes multiple parts begin flying towards the robot creating a new body for him, something big, something terrifying, something made from complete
there's nothing left for you to do, you've won!
