Finished my latest commission - Ser Duncan inspired sword
Finished up this Ser Duncan-inspired sword commission from HBO's A Knights of the Seven Kingdoms recently. This one was built as a functional, battle-ready sword.
A few details from the build:
• Blade: 36" 5160 spring steel
• Blade geometry: Hollow ground with distal taper
• Handle: 9" walnut wood
• Cross guard: 304 stainless steel
• Overall sword length: 45"
• Construction: Peened pommel
• Scabbard: Wood core with brown leather
Really enjoyed working on this sword. Getting the proportions, blade geometry, handling, and overall feel right was especially important with this design.
I'd love to hear what you think and any feedback from the community. 😊

Atlantean Sword commission from Conan the Barbarian (1982)
Just wanted to share my latest Conan the Barbarian sword build with the community.
Recreating this iconic sword was a really enjoyable project, and I wanted the leather sheath to feel like it belonged alongside the sword rather than being an afterthought. A lot of time went into getting the proportions and overall look as close as possible.
I'd love to hear what fellow Conan fans think. Any feedback is always appreciated! ⚔️
Holy Moonlight Sword inspired by Bloodborne.
Finished this Holy Moonlight Sword as a custom commission and wanted to share it with fellow FromSoftware fans.
Recreating the glowing blade and engraved details was one of the most enjoyable parts of the project. It's always fun bringing these iconic fantasy weapons to life.
Hope you enjoy it! I'd love to hear your thoughts. ⚔️
[ALL][OC] My latest commission: a life-size Master Sword inspired by BotW, TotK & Twilight Princess
I recently had the opportunity to build this life-size Master Sword as a custom commission, inspired by Breath of the Wild, Twilight Princess, and Tears of the Kingdom.
Recreating the iconic colors of the handle and guard, engraving the Zelda emblem on the blade, and crafting the matching scabbard were some of the most enjoyable parts of this project.
The sword measures 39 inches overall with a 29-inch blade, and the complete sword with scabbard weighs around 2.1 kg. The scabbard features a hard plywood core, wrapped in blue leather with metal fittings to capture the classic Zelda aesthetic.
This version was made as a non-sharp display and cosplay replica for a customer who is a huge Zelda fan.
I'd love to hear what you think and any feedback from the community. 😊
Finished My Latest Commission – Ottoman Kilij Sword ⚔️
Just finished my latest commission: an Ottoman Kilij, inspired by the traditional Turkish sword design. ⚔️

- Lenticular grind
- Heat treated to 58 HRC

A 200-piece batch with acid etched & stonewashed blades
Pulled this clip from a production run we finished a few months back.
Roughly 200 knives total, all with an acid-etched and stonewashed finish. Depending on the customer's specs, some were fitted with walnut scales while others got micarta.
I've always liked this combination because it gives a knife a used-but-not-abused look right from the start, and it does a great job of hiding the scratches and wear that working knives inevitably pick up over time.
Curious what everyone else is using these days. What's your preferred blade finish for a knife that's meant to be carried and used?
Finished my latest commission – Urfael inspired sword ⚔️
Just wrapped up this Urfael-inspired commission and wanted to share it with fellow sword enthusiasts. ⚔️
This piece features a polished blade, leather-wrapped grip, and custom scabbard with Brass metal fittings. The goal was to capture the look and feel of the iconic design while keeping the details clean and well-balanced.
I'd love to hear what you think and any feedback from the community. 😊

The sword was made entirely from wood for use as a costume and display piece
A recent custom project we completed for a customer in the USA.
The sword was made entirely from wood for use as a costume and display piece. We hand-carved the details, shaped the guard and handle, and finished it with a red and black paint scheme to match the design the customer wanted.
It's always interesting working on projects like these because the goal isn't to replicate a functional weapon, but to create something that looks striking and feels right for the character or event.
Would love to hear what you think and what you would change or add if this were your build.
