Ftm transitioning fears/doubts

Reposted, I've accepted the rules n conditions

TW for transphobia, transitioning

I'm a trans man, I was on the enby to trans man pipeline

I've grown up in a very transphobic environment and I don't have any queer friends. I had a bunch of queer friends when I was earlier in my transition but not anymore

My plan is to medically transition. I've been socially transitioning for years now

I'm scared of going further and regretting it all and losing everything

I've been trans for over a year now, nearly the entire time has been filled with doubts

I was never happy with myself as a woman, I don't feel comfortable being called a woman or being seen as a woman. I've been wearing some form of a binder almost everyday since late 2024/early 2025. I would heavily prefer to remove my breasts. I prefer using he/him pronouns, and I go by a different name than the one I was given at birth

If I medically transitioned, I would lose everything. I'd be disowned and lose my entire family and my shelter. But it means that I could potentially finally be happy with myself and my body

Maybe I was conditioned to think like this, to think being trans is not okay. Maybe I'm like this because of my past, because of my depression, my low self confidence and self esteem

I prefer the masculine side of things. I never thought femininity was for me. But, masculine women do exist. I've questioned if I was a tomboy, some nonbinary labels too

I want to be happy, and I want to be myself. I value being and becoming my true self

So I don't know where to go from here

I fear that T would make me more depressed and hate myself, but I want to cut my breasts off. First I hated them because they're small, lopsided and everyone else's was bigger and more developed. Now I want to cut them off so I could feel comfortable wearing tight shirts and being shirtless with no restrictions. I hated myself for a long time, I'm slowly working on it

I've been on antidepressants for a year now, I worry that T will make things much worse for me. I worry that I'll struggle even worse than before

(I'm sorry if this isn't the right sub, hate will be deleted and blocked)

My father said he would disown me for being transgender + transitioning, how do I prepare for that if it actually does happen?

19 y/o trans man. I still live at home unfortunately My parents are generally supportive of me, but not of my gender

My father said multiple times in the past that he'd disown me if I ever transition and begged me not to, but I'll likely have to be ok with losing him and his support so I could be myself. It's been a while since we had the conversation, but he is a very, very stubborn and traditional man

Problem is, is that I still live at home and rely on them for shelter and utilities

I have a full time minimum wage job, I'm trying to save as much as I can so I can move out as soon as I possibly can

I don't know if he'll definitively kick me out or not, but it's something that will and has always lingered in the back of my head. I'd much rather be safer than sorry
