Potential dog breed?

Hi! I’m looking at potential dog breeds, however it will be around 5 years if not longer before I get a dog.

I want to know what it is like to own one of these dogs? What does your daily routine look like? Can you bring your dog out into public spaces?

I would also like some advice on if this dog would fit my lifestyle! I have previously owned Shiba Inus, so have experience owning difficult breeds however I wouldn’t want another experience like that again 😅

I would like a dog that is fun to train, happy to engage in training and games etc, enjoys walking but also has the ability to relax, relax around people etc. especially as I work from home but I would love to do things like scent work etc

I also have no issues with having to groom dogs daily either.

Is there any known behavioural or temperament issues with this breed? Are they known to be dog or people aggressive?

I know that my partner will want a dog that is not super in your face all the time either, but happy to cuddle etc.

I won’t be offended if anyone says this breed isn’t for me either! I’ve got many years to consider different breeds!

Questions for bioactive Vivarium

Hi! So I have a crestie and I’m wanting to build him a bioactive enclosure. I have a vintage cabinet that I found that I’m thinking of up-cycling into a Vivarium. I have done loads of research but still have a few questions I’m struggling with.

  1. How much ventilation should I add on? It’s a solid cabinet with a glass door. I’m going to drill in vents and seal all of the wood so it is watertight. But I need to know how many vents to get first and positions for airflow.

  2. How often shall I water the Vivarium before I add in the crestie, to let the plants establish themselves?

  3. Do I have to have a mesh top? I obviously need to add in lighting but I’m unsure on how to go about this. Currently he just has a bulb over his Viv with mesh

  4. Do I have to have a cleanup crew of little bugs? Can I build the environment without these?

  5. How deep does my drainage layers need to be?

I’d also appreciate any suggestions on videos etc on how to plant the plants and what is most efficient

Thanks!

How many rings should I buy for stacked septum?

Hi! So I have my septum stretched to 6mm now, and wear a pincher, however I want to change to a stacked septum as it makes my nostrils flare out and I’m starting to prefer that look! How many at what thickness have you guys currently got in?

I quite like the look of them being smaller diameter rings and sitting quite snug in the hole if anyone has a set up similar to that

Or if I should put a silicone plug in to keep its shape? My septum has been healed for years but I still want the opportunity to put a large ring or pincher back into it

Thanks!

Should I grow my fringe out?

I’ve had a fringe for YEARS! for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown it out slightly before but always ended up cutting it back but I’m quite tempted to grow it out again!

The reason I want to possibly grow it out is because without makeup my hair looks really weird and I just don’t look very put together. Styling it doesn’t bother me in the slightest, I style it every day pretty much, but I can’t always be bothered to do makeup

I pushed my fringe back the other day to see how it would look and it did look quite cute!

Worst that can happen is cut it back in but what do you guys think!

Before & after paint job

Hi!! A while ago I had asked for some advice on painting my car at home after the body was fully restored and got a lot of tips! First of all, I made a post in a local Facebook group asking if someone had a paint booth I could hire and I had a painter reach out to me and offer to help me paint it, use the equipment and space for £600, too good to pass up.

So that is what I did!! He taught me how to do everything and helped a lot with the paint job (to be fair he did a lot of the laying on the paint and I did a lot of sanding etc)

Still need to do a cut and polish but for now I’m extremely happy with the results! Still lots of bits and bobs I want to do to the car but the paint has absolutely transformed it

Do sun-dried tomatoes legally need to be dried in the sun, like legally to sell? I see lots of products on the shelves saying they are or contained sun dried tomatoes, but do they legally need to be dried in the sun to be called sun dried?

Hi!! So I’ve been loosing weight for a while now, however the last 2 weeks I’ve not lost weight/eaten in a definite. I get myself stuck in cycles of trying to “make up” for what I overate the next day, and it ends up being a cycle

Anyway, how do you combat this, I’ve decided today to just do a hard reset, and I’ve managed to eat within my budget which I’m pleased with!

I think I’m just looking for some support and a bit of a hype up that I’m doing the right thing 😅
