What age did you stop crating your dog at night/ for structured naps ?
specifically those with high drive breeds like mals and dutchies. My bf thinks my puppy’s never gonna learn to be out of the cage overnight or during his daytime nap hours if I don’t stop crating him now. My pups a Dutchie and is only 20 weeks and we have other dogs, a kid, and a cat who interrupt his naptimes outside the crate so hes been getting structured naps throughout the day. I raised my huskies this way and they turned out to have phenomenal off switches but curious on other peoples experiences/opinions if their high drive pups turned reliant on crates bc I think my bfs overthinking it and doesn’t realize my pup needs lots of quality rest at his age
