This thing is sold out in dallas for the next 30 days every showing. There are not more showings to purchase after about 30 days out either. The only seats available are in about 30 days that are right up against the screen. I had no idea how crazy people were about imax. I guess we will have to stick with XD. I've always been happy with XD but I had no idea there was so much hype around the imax70mm

Is regular imax better than XD?

I remember in the early 2000s it was a big thing custom guys were doing; building their own dash from scratch. I dont see that anywhere on youtube besdies like 10 year old videos.

Is it worth the $2k price difference?

Going in a 15 x 15 ft room on a 120 inch screen.

First projector ever.

Room has no windows either.
