Using SP404mk2 to make jungle. How to prevent 808 bass to be full of clicks when retriggered mid waveform? Tried chromatic mono, legato modes. Resampling notes to sample pads and using mute groups. As far as I understand, if you retrigger in the middle of the wave form, there’s no way to prevent the click because it just chops the audio wave form at that point. And the envelopes only apply to the very start and very end of the 808 sample not on the retrigger action.

Apologies if this has been answered but I have a drum rack with insances of simplers or samplers. I put 808 basses in and when playing them and using chokes I get really bad clicking. As I should as there is no envelope on the chokes. So what are my options. I currently have short midi notes that are triggering the whole sample. I am a bit lost on how to fix this.
