My favorite transformation yet!

Found some monster trucks at Hobby Lobby and loved the details but hated the chassis. So I changed it.

I robbed another chassis from a similar casting I’ve had since I was a kid. Apparently I chose to smash that one with a hammer so the body was no good anyway.

A little trimming and that was promising. Test fit with wheels but wasn’t happy with it. I found an old casting in my bin and stole the engine and headers from a ford coupe. Retrofitted the engine in the hood opening and was able to trim the chassis to clear the headers. If you look closely you can see the headers in the wheel wells.

Eventually I’ll re-glue everything, trim the chassis more neatly and paint it, but for now I’m just having fun looking at it.

Any diecast guys?

Hey guys! Some of you may know me as Mike from Trail Grid Pro. I had the pleasure of helping many of you with your 4Runner needs before leaving the company a couple years back.

Anywho. I just finished photographing these 4Runner diecasts and thought I’d share with you guys! Hope you enjoy!

My Subie Diecast fleet!

I’ve been collecting diecasts for years, but recently got into modifying them as well. Any other Subaru diecast collectors?

This is a small selection of Subarus I’ve collected. Most are still in their original packaging. I’d love to see what everyone else has!
