Sheridan - Sheri - first baby girl

Second baby girl looking for similar Irish surname but cute nickname energy

The name Carrigan - Carrie came into my head overnight. Thinking Sheridan and Carrigan and Sheri and Carrie are too similar?

We wanted another S name but decided against that after hearing others stories of being confused often with siblings with the same first letter. Is this name combination basically the same issue?

What do you think is the strongest and/or best combo for two siblings? Just for fun!

Our first daughter’s middle name was a grandmother middle name and this daughter will have a combination middle name of women in the family, Marceline

We really like strong unique names, that can also have a nickname. Mom dad and sister all go by nicknames with a formal name so would like this baby to match

Sisters name starts with S and our last name starts with S

Just a test, we haven’t picked a name yet for our second girl but we do like Holland a lot and are looking for the better nickname.

We are a nickname family. Mom and dad have formal names but go by nicknames and big sister has a formal name and goes by a nickname so we want to do the same for our last child

Please don’t comment on how you do no like the name, I know it’s not for everyone.

Looking for girl names that are unique enough for a generic last name like Smith.

Goal is to not have another person with same fn ln in the classroom/workplace etc.

So our last name is a very generic S last name.
Due to that I’ve always strived for strong unique female names for our girls

Our first girl is Sheridan - nn Sheri
I love it is unique, a strong name, good for any age she may be, and has multiple nn options if she doesn’t want Sheri later in life

Our second girl I am really loving Holland - nn Hollis
We really wanted another S name but can’t find anything that hits the same buckets. Holland is the only name that stood out for the same reasons, strong name, unique, good for any age, lots of nn options

Thoughts? Any other name ideas?
