Electrical issue

was leaving work today talking to a friend with my window down and when I left went to go put it back up and both the driver and passenger side windows and door locks stopped working as well as the three gauges over the center of the vehicle for voltage pressure and temperature. Anybody know where to look to find the cause of the issue?
edit: forgot to add ymm, 1993 3000gt base

shitty mechanic here! so my buddy called me stuck in the side of the road bc his car (2009 nissan rouge with 160k miles) was hemorrhaging oil pulled up, put some more oil in and cranked it and there is a hole about the size of 2 quarters laid next to eachother in a triangular inlay in the bottom back side of the block. closest autozone was 10 away and closed in 15 so i rushed there, got some jb high heat weld, some lighters, and 5 quarts of oil. Took some cardboard, slathered it on one side and pressed it up against the triangular inlay (not the hole itself), and am letting that set right now. Plan is to slather the other side of the cardboard and cure it with the lighters so he can at least get home. Realistically, how long will this hold?

Update

Slathered the other side and had to go back home, told him not to drive it for as long as possible but he only has abt 2 more hours till he has to go home shower and go to work…i told him to inspect it before starting and if it seems anything but rock solid just uber and pick it up tonight…praying it holds
