Looking to learn

I’m trying to learn everything I can. I have paroxysmal afib for about a year now and have not gone to Er yet however I’ve come close. Seems at first to be triggered by being overmedicated on Synthroid. I’m now on a different med and my thyroid is more under control but seems food is triggering now. I have histamine intolerance and possibly MCAS (thinking based on symptoms but tbd by testing.). I also have crappy genes

I have episodes maybe twice a month triggered by foods and possibly over exertion the previous day. But foods for sure as Afib starts pretty immediately after trigger foods/meals. Have a Follow-up with cardiologist (not EP as I went to a women’s specialist cardiologist) in March. Previous Echo was fine. So I’m unmanaged and quite lost in what to do. I wonder why people go to er for cardio versions when others live with constant afib? Had one triggered from pizza today for 3 hours. Highest heart rate about 145. Average during the ep was 120-130. Any thoughts are welcomed. Thank you 🙏

Genetics report

Would love some insight to this. I have major sensitivities to most supps. I have to start out at minimum dosage possible which is a dusting of powder form or crumb of a tablet. B12 makes me irritable, rage and emotional after an initial rush of euphoria tget I wish I could bottle up. ALL forms including adeno/hydroxy combo or single form of them, other side effects with glycine, ltheanine, magnesium malate makes me a zombie, irritable and emotional, am tolerating Thorne mag glyc powder just a dusting for now surprisingly and sleep has improved, tolerating seeking health folinic acid 800 mcg, one drop only of orthomolecular d3/k2 as have low vit d, homocysteine improved a bit with folinic acid, b12 is low-mid range. I also have had blood clots and am on Xarelto for life so that’s a caution with supps, high lpa and bad cholesterol, plus Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism thanks to winning the genetic lottery

Dao enzyme

Took Dao enzyme from seeking health for the first time. 1/4 capsule. My nose instantly cleared. But shortly after I got heart palpitations. Many fast ones in a row then normal, repeat for over an hour now. Seems it’s affected my nervous system. I got same from being over medicated on thyroid meds. I’ve been cleared for any heart issues from my cardiologist. My nose feels fantastic. No post nasal drip or running. But my heart is stimulated.
I’m sooooo bummed.

Hyper reactive to thyroid meds

Diagnosis: Hypothyroidism with hyper reactivity to micro doses of t4 and t3 and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (Current TPO/Tg antibodies at 276 IU/mL). No nodules or thyroid cancer.
* The Core Issue: acquired Afib
* And heart palpitations (sometimes for hours or all day (recently) with intense mood swings and irritability, racing thoughts and revved feelings sometimes where my mouth can’t keep up with my mind, driven entirely by my thyroid medications. My cardiologist has fully evaluated my heart and confirmed it is structurally healthy; the palpitations are an acute nervous system reaction to the hormones.
* Current Regimen: Tirosint (25 mcg) only ev other day, recently prior had also taken Liothyronine SR (2.5 mcg) with Tirosint but got frequent palps and sometimes lasting all day. Prior, Liothyronine (5 mcg) only for 9 mos. But tsh increased and t4 decreased. Prior (2025) Synthroid 88 mcg and turned hyper and acquired afib. No one would listen to me. So I stopped and several months later found a functional med doc who prescribed sr lio. But still need t4 it appears. I’ve come full circle now. The addition of t4 has now brought back the heart palpitations and neurological reactivity when paired with sr t3 2.5 mcg or 5mcg.
