I have a front load, direct drive Whirlpool Washing machine. It came with the house I bought. It has two "features" that should have kept it from being released. 1) The filter is on the back of the machine. To clean it, you have to drag the washer far enough away from the wall far enough to get in behind it. (It's in a galley kitchen with vinyl flooring) 2) The detergent dispensing drawer isn't steep enough to acutally drain the water that's in it after the cycle is done. You have to completely pull out the drawer, place it upside-down to drain in the sink or it will grow pink mold. Really stupid of the designers and engineers. BTW, my old house had a Miele front-loader with a filter on the front, so it obviously can be done.

I got my hair cut this morning at Varsity Barber Shop - the number of empty storefronts on Liberty between 4th and Main is really depressing

Is it move in day? Traffic on Geddes is horrible today

Can someone explain the traffic on Washtenaw? It's 2:00 pm. (Not rush hour). The traffic is bumper to bumper from Platt Road to Arborland. Then sudddenly, there isn't any (a slight backup at Carpenter). You rarely see anyone getting on 23 - so what's the problem, and more importantly, who can fix it?

Why have people dropped the "from" when they say I graduated college?

I've reached my limit of blocked spam email and phone calls. I wish Apple would devise a way to bulk delete them. Right now, I have to unblock each one of them. Ridiculous.

I vote for True Blood. Great song, great film techniques.

This may have been asked before, but I am hoping someone can recommend someone to haul away a mattress. I can't fit in my car.

Don't have a photo, but the choir of singing hair clippings in the Manscaped commercial is puke-inducing

Anyone know why no one's working on North U. today (Friday)? It's not the first time that I've noticed the lack of activity,

What's going on? Almost every time I opened a chest today I got gems. I had to buy an XP boost that lasted 10 minutes, then one 1.5 boost. Don't need gems.

Can someone recommend a curtain maker in Ann Arbor that can help make some blackout curtains? Help with installation would be a plus. Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a driver to take me to U of M hospital, to wait while my procedue is taking place and to drive me home again? (the procedure is October 3. I'm being sedated and have to have someone there the whole time. Thanks! I don't need Medical transportation. Just a "chauffeur"

This may sound stupic, but I'm looking for a place that sells whole chicken legs (drumstick and thigh) Any suggestions for really fresh chicken legs?
