We shouldve gotten more low honor encounters (or any at all)

I know a lot of people are going to disagree but bear with me.

I think the biggest issue with RDR2 imo is the fact that low honor options are almost non existent or poorly executed

most of random encounters ends with you gaining honor, for example, the chained guy that pops out of a bush and if you help him not only he tips you off, you gain honor.. sure, its a fellow outlaw on the run too, Arthur would probably free him, but it can be contradicted by another encounter

the chained gang (not the side mission, the random encounter) that kills the guards, if youre quick enough to kill the guards first, you lose honor.. why? Shouldnt you gain honor by killing them and helping the prisoners like the one i mentioned earlier?

Its really frustrating having that in mind when youre going for a low to high honor run, BUT staying in character.. of course, you can say: "just go killing every moving thing! Thats what low honor Arthur would do! Gahook!"

But thats a statement that overlooks Arthurs moral, the game gives you various examples on why Arthur wouldnt go killing folks for no reason

The first and obvious reason is the dialogue Arthur has with Dutch, he mentions that, Dutch always taught them to not go killing folks in cold blood (thats already enough of a argument, but ill keep going)

Second, if you talk with the girls in camp, and youve been killing folks, Arthur will talk about how hes killing people, for no reason and for fun, its a moment that Arthur is opening up about what hes probably shouldnt be doing and maybe showing regrets about it.

Third, its just not how Arthur would act like. """low honor""" Arthur is exactly how micah is, and guess what? He despises the man.

A clear example on what im trying to say is this:

"Oh, youre a woman that is trapped under a horse which you had no fault on? Well, just hold this bullet for me"

Like, why would Arthur do that? Because hes supposed to be evil? There is a big difference on being evil and cruel and RDR2 lacks "evil" outcomes.

The best example on a well executed low honor outcome, is the one you can have with Jimmy Brooks.

if you choose to kill him, you lose honor, of course, but that reflects on Arthurs character on "protecting the gang", if he let jimmy brooks live, he maybe would tell on Arthur and put the gang at risk, so its probaby the best to kill him on a low honor run, that fits Arthurs low honor character, while keeping the gang safe.

Idk im maybe just being stupid and overthinking things, lmk.

Could this be a music note?

I was farting around brandywine drop trying to push off npcs off near the waterfall ridge and one time i fell by accident..

Trying to find a way out i came across this, i know this can be a long stretch and its just texture glitch or whatever but it looks like the half of a beamed note, im not assuming anything, but maybe its tied to something else?? again could just be texture glitch..

Quick tutorial on how to trigger "Planters Baun" name on the map

I know this wont be useful for most of you but for a specific niche of players this can be of big help.

If youre trying to fill your map with all icons, you (probably) know that, for some reason, the name of the cabin near barrow lagoon (Planters Baun) just wont show up, even if you go inside or explore around it.

All you gotta do is head to the destroyed cabin just west of the legendary bison icon, and itll show up, by all means i dont know why this happens, but it does and im glad to have discovered this because it made me go insane trying to trigger the name on the map.. and ive seen people talk about this too so i hope people with the same problem see this

Question about the hunter tracking game encounter

I came across this hunter (the one who goes "oh i can taste you already") many times before, but i never bothered to go after his game and just rode off, the one time i need him, is when hes hunting up north near bacchus station/calumet ravine, which is the only known way to get the bear drawing on the map near that location.

With that in mind, im right now near moonstone pond, and this absolute MORON is blocking my way to get down there and explore the flattened cabin, since hes right next to it, im afraid that if i linger too long, the encounter will play out as normal and lose the next opportunity to find him up north, but also i dont know if killing him right now would keep him from spawning again, so my question is, if the encounter play out as normal, will he spawn again despite already encountering him? trying to trigger him up near calumet ravine and get the bear right off the bat is also not an option
