The original second assignment has been extended by faculty for two weeks, partially because the autograder wasn’t up. They’ve taken down the autograder early because they set it to expire at the wrong time. I’m almost done with my code but can’t test it until they reopen it. There is a 48 hour extension, but it’s not available to anyone because the autograder is down. This is infuriating

I'm one of the last of my friend group attending uni (QUT gardens point). The rest have dropped out within the last year, or are mainly doing placements, and some of the others are all at different uni's. I don't usually talk to people in classes, and don't really have time for club events (I do a double degree (engineering (mechanical) and Comp Sci), plus have a job which is usually 10-20 hours bartending/food service per week). I'm a guy if that matters, 21, l enjoy gaming (Pokémon, prof. Layton or ace attorney are my go to's atm), reading, baking, cooking, watching movies, and a lot of other stuff. I do enjoy writing, so sometimes do some of that too. If you'd want to be friends send a dm?

I often go to my classes, but they’re all later in the week. I don’t have many resources saved for a lot of stuff, and the fact that most of my task sheets for my subject are just typed as plaintext in canvas makes it more unlikely I’d have them somewhere. I’m not really too sure what I can do at the current time considering I can’t see the task parameters for any of my assessments, nor when they’re due. Anyone else facing similar issues?

I really enjoy hanging out IRL, but a lot of the time I find myself too busy to, and most if the friends I currently have don’t really do much in that respect (u less it’s just board games or something). Worked on a huge document for someone for several hours, only for him to respond “Did you use AI to do this?”. Person I was in the talking stage with was seeing someone else all along. Close friend dropped out of uni, leaving me pretty much alone in my course. Someone impersonated my ex, broke non contact of several years which made me stressed. I can’t find someone to spend my life with, because the second they see me they say “I hope you find what you’re looking for” (if I had a nickel for every time it happened this week, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice) Work has me on until midnight, which is good money but a pain in the ass. My entire friend group is going on a huge group date with their partners - guess who’s the only solo. Trying to find an internship is a shit show, especially considering I need essentially 3 months of full time work in a highly competitive environment. They only dating places for me are really online, and they yield no results. I thought things would be different, but they’re really not
