Am I tripping or does it look like the dirt will come out great by time for the motos today?

Note this, ive only seen the social media posts but the dirt every besides the start looks like it may come out as fantastic.

Now it may also just get pitifully deep too and me just look like a dumbass😂

As a 16 year old going into their Junior Year of HS, how hard is it to get into the Union and what do I need to know?

So like I said, Im 16, starting to think about my future and understand from my uncle who is an ironworker, that elevator technicians/mechanics make very good salary. Im not planning on college so Ive been also looking into trades and this is definitely up there for pay.

So as someone who has expensive hobbies (cars, fishing, hunting, etc.) and eventually wants to start a family, I thought that this would be a good job to look at getting into.

However I wanted to understand when I should apply for an apprenticeship, what all I need to study for the trade, etc.

So now that the two tone blue is no more (and now our jerseys are technically throwback themed), will the third jersey/alternates be an all red?

I think all reds would be dope but Im not sure if there are many other options

Can we agree that forcing religion on people is pretty dang bad but hating on those who are religious without knowing their views is also bad? (And please just read all of this before yall assume my character and downvote me to hell)

Also, before I start, yall feel free to AMA, i love being able to understand peoples views and they understand mine, because thats literally the only way that society can humanely progress.

Like I see some over the top religous people who will literally say “Youre going to hell you *insert slurs here*” But I will also see people who will act like all Christians are MAGA lovers who are bigots, racists and homophobes.

Newsflash to both, BOTH ARE WRONG. Forcing religion on someone and disrespecting them for not being religious is wrong. So is acting like some Christian is the scum of the earth (Now if theyre MAGA then youre not wrong imo)

Because guess what, in countries that are fortunate enough, there is a freedom in RELIGION and SPEECH.

Like Im a democratic leaning Christian, guess what, Im all for abortion as a law. I may not completely side with it, but we have a separation in Church and state for a reason. I also believe that you should be able to love whoever you want and you shouldn’t be punished by the law, all humans deserve to have a voice (unless they righteously lose it)

But unfortunately, people see that Im a christian and automatically assume that I am a bigot racist. But im not, and even as a Christian, I have so many questions and thoights about Christianity.

Explanation of my views on my own religion |
v

Like I wonder if the bible truly is God’s word to the T, because I dont think God would want sexism, slavery, etc. from his own religion. I dont think that God would want innocent children dying from cancer, car crashes, etc. either

Admittedly I think that a lot of the evil on this earth does come from the devil.

But for me, I truly believe that everything in my life between the failed suicide attempts, the reasons that ive been given to stay, the blessings ive received, etc, couldn’t have happened by choice so I believe that there is a higher being in God and that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and I truly do believe that everyone should be given the chance to believe in that or not and shouldnt be judged if they dont

And I know that there will be Christians who are going to be calling me “lukewarm” for my views but its my views and if im wrong for thinking that my views that are humane gets me sent to hell, I couldn’t care less. Because I love Jesus and God but if its truly a decision of following them vs being a humane person, id rather be in hell

Those who transitioned from baseball to golf, I need help as a brand new golfer because my baseball swing is affecting my golf swing.

For reference Im 16, currently play baseball and am brand new to golf (this was my first time ever at the range)

I feel like I tend to top the ball and slice it heavily due to me being a contact/oppo hitter in baseball. So I feel like im almost trying to push the ball while also trying to stay on plane with the ball instead of getting under the ball.

This was with a 7 Iron and was probably was my best swing of the day but I feel like the weird front leg thing might be hurting me in the long run.

So why did Pokemon have Ash return old Pokemon in BF amd the Sinnoh League, but not Unova when he needed it?

Ive always been curious of this especially when Unova was arguably the BEST time to bring back old Pokemon. It never really made since to me, but Im perfectly fine with not having any Pokemon return in Kalos, Alola or Journeys because those were really good teams.

I understood it more with the Battle Frontier with it being more like its own mini-series tagged onto the AG series

But in Sinnoh; the mfs team (on paper at least) was STACKED. With: Two fully evolved starters (which one sucked to be fair), Gliscor, Staraptor, Buizel and Pikachu. And they still had old Pokemon return.

But in Unova when Ash has three fully evolved Pokemon (which one was an Unfesant), he didnt make any changes.

Struggling off the pitching machine

So I made a post yesterday asking about the velo from a certain distance but I wanted to get some help on what I can work on.

So I just picked up baseball again about a year ago and Ive always done decent hitting front toss and Bp whenever I get the opportunity.

However, I dont get those opportunities too often unless its my grandpa pitching because my dad is unable to throw bp due to bad vision and my mom isnt the best pitcher so I get very limited amounts of good quality reps. (Which is better than no reps so Im very grateful for her, so please dont think im being some ungrateful jerk please)

However, Ive always struggled with timing the fastballs off of a pitching machine and not as much with timing the pitch speed because I can make contact but rather timing up my load before my swing so I dont break out of my mechanics . So I was wondering how I can fix that because I dont struggle with it whenever its out of a persons hand.

Because the one time I faced realistic speeds off Bp, I had no warm up and only had 5 swings because it was in our schools cages however they were all decent contact back up the middle. So Im at a loss, I can hit Bp well but struggle off the machine and desperately need help so I can get more reps in before tryouts

Those who are familiar with hack attacks, I have a question

This maybe a stupid question by me but thought this might be the place to ask

Now I was at the batting cages for the first time in months and (unknowingly) had the machine set to 70+ mph fastballs from 40ish feet away.

While most of the pitches wound up being splitters at my feet because of how they were being fed and wound up playing a game of “How High Can I Get My OBP” from getting hit in the hand and walking about 17 times, all the times I did have a fastball or splitter over the plate I struggled quite a but.

So, I was wondering if the velocity on the fastballs and even some splitters that were in the zone were actually equivalent to 90ish to however much would get subtracted from the fastball as a splitter(so Im assuming 80s) like the equivalent says on google

Because I dont think Im a necessarily bad hitter (fielding is another conversation 😬) and do quite well hitting Bp. But I dont think Im good enough to make early contact with 80+ mph splitters and fair contact with 90 mph fastballs good, (especially not the once in a blue moon line drives I hit) Because Im confident, not psychotic 🤣

Hunter Lawrence in a way reminds me of Eli Tomac with his career trajectory

Now disclaimer, this MIGHT be a bit of a reach by me

Hunter had an ok start on 450’s with a moto season where he had many solid rides. Then had a breakout year where he battled with a veteran all year in Supercross, won races and came up just short of the title he should have won due to mistakes.

Tomac (while yes had an incredible 2015 run going before getting injured), has an ok year in 2016 with a solid Moto season. He then followed by a breakout year in Supercross where he won many races, battled with a veteran all year, came up short of the SX title that he shouldve won due to mistakes. He then wins the Motocross title to close that year.

Could we see Hunter snag the Motocross title like Tomac did in 2017 after losing what shouldve been his SX title had it not been for mistakes?

is that the most incredible final round in a good while?

Between the Davies and Deegan battle, then those first 11 minutes of that 450 main and last but not least Kenny with the fairytale ending. that was such a good finale especially considering how it was panning out for how boring it could’ve been. between the 250 titles being wrapped up and Kenny struggling earlier today but MAN THOSE WERE FUN
