Sorry if it's a stupid question. Is this gap between base cabinets supposed to be there or am I supposed to fill it with something?

The cabinets don't sit flush together because of the lips sticking out at the front ends. When I looked up cabinet filler they're all thin narrow boards, so do I just put on at the back end or is something supposed to fill this gap entirely?

Is this arch too big for curtains? Can I hang them without looking silly?

Please ignore the floors etc. We've already ripped them up. It's a newly bought home in the process of renovation. The arch looks a lot bigger in person, and I want some way to separate the living room from the kitchen and dining area a bit. I was thinking curtains might work but I'm not sure if it would look good.

Just bought my new home. Should I replace all of this in the kitchen?

We're ripping up the flooring the previous owner had in the kitchen. She had told us about a water leak they had fixed recently, and we knew she replaced some of the flooring around the fridge but we didn't know it was going to look like this underneath.

It seems they cut out the plyboard directly around the fridge and replaced it with some... actual wood? Then they slapped some putty-substance over that wood, and slapped vinyl tiles over that.

The plyboard that looks wet has a bit of give when pressed on, but we did the knife test and it didn't cut through.

Should I just replace it all to be on the safe side?

Looking for fantasy artists who sell prints and/or originals. Please no AI!

I'm trying to decorate my new home and i'm looking for real artists who sl art with fantasy themes.

Think LOTR, Baldurs Gate, DND, medieval themes, Dragons, anything fantasy... I'm open to realism, semi-realism, anime , landscapes, character portraits, and honestly a wide arrange of styles.

Please share your shops if you think you might be up my alley! 🙏
