What is TMD? And can it get worse in future??

Hey,

So I had cavity in my tooth since dec’24 and I visited dentist back then, he cleaned them and told me to eat less sugar but last year I was going from a lot, and during that time, because of stress or frustration, I started chewing gum excessively.

Later on dec’25 my teeth started hurting and I also began hearing a click sound whenever the i opened my mouth. It honestly scared me, but since I was already going through a lot mentally, I ignored it and didn’t visit the dentist. Now, in May, I finally went again to get my cavities cleaned and asked my dentist about the clicking sound in my jaw. Nobody else can hear it, but it’s genuinely painful and uncomfortable for me.

He told me it’s TMD.

The problem is, I don’t really know much about it, and I came home without asking more questions. So I just want to understand:

What exactly is TMD?

Why did this happen to me?

How can I fix or manage it?

Can it create serious problems in the future?

Please explain it in simple language because I’m honestly confused and worried.

Stay safe, stay healthy.

Thankyou!

Getting job at this age is so tough man.

Hey,

Bruhhh, I didn’t think getting a job would be this hard. The legal age for part-time work is 14 and I’m not getting anything at 16(even Im ready for anytime work😭), I’ve been searching everywhere and still can’t find even the worst one 😭

I kinda knew this struggle was coming, but now it’s honestly getting frustrating.

At this point, I just need a job at any cost because I can’t stay in my house(or honestly,in my city) for much longer.

And yeah, I could ask my family for money.. but nahh man, mujhe toh independent banna tha, lo fir🙂

Fun fact: the only part-time job I got was in the one city where I wasn’t even searching💀

Now I’m planning to come to Mumbai with just a 20-25k budget while expecting a 20k salary🙂 hahaha.. laughable,I know😭

So if anyone has any leads, referrals, or any kind of job to offer, please dm me.

Would genuinely appreciate it.

And honestly this post might look a lil funny or unserious, but irl I’m actually at a point where I feel like I could break down at anytime:)

Thank you.

shifting to Mumbai alone, could really use some help finding a flat on 26!

Hey,

I’m 16m and coming to Mumbai on 26 May. Mostly to shift there permanently but I don’t have any friends or contacts there, so I’m honestly a bit confused about flat hunting and settling in alone.

Right now I’m mainly looking around Andheri West side for a flat/pg, but it’s hard to know what’s genuine because there are so many scams, fake listings, random charges, etc. Since I’m new to the city, it’s difficult to understand what’s normal and what’s not.

I’m also trying to find part-time work while settling in, but finding jobs at this age without contacts has been difficult too.

If someone has experience with flat hunting in Mumbai or can help me understand things to avoid, I’d really appreciate it. Even small guidance would help a lot rn.

Thanks!

Job at 16? Possible???

Hey,

I’m 16m, currently a student, and planning to shift to mumbai around first week of June or after 25th may to pursue acting seriously. Most probably looking around Andheri West since it’s close to auditions, workshops and easier for networking.

I know getting work at this age isn’t easy, especially as a newcomer, but I still want to become financially responsible early instead of depending fully on my family for everything. My family will support me when needed, so I’m not under pressure to “earn and survive” immediately I’m mainly looking for something genuine where I can learn, manage basic expenses, and build experience while continuing acting.

I’m open to:

~Part-time jobs

~Internships

~Cafe/store work

~Social media related work

~Reception/help desk type work

~Any beginner friendly work honestly

Skills:

• Decent communication skills

• Basic social media understanding

• Can manage people/work responsibly

• Fast learner and comfortable with long hours if environment is good

A few things I wanted guidance on:

~What kind of jobs are realistically available for someone my age in Mumbai?

~Which areas are best for students/newcomers? (Andheri West, Lower Parel, etc.)

~What salary/stipend should I realistically expect for part-time work?

~Biggest scams/red flags I should avoid while finding jobs/flats?

~Best apps/sites/groups to find genuine opportunities?

Also if anyone has leads, referrals, or knows someone hiring part timers, interns, my dm are open. Even basic guidance from people already living in Mumbai would genuinely help.

Thankyou!

TL;DR:

M16, student shifting to Mumbai for acting, looking for genuine part-time work, internships and genuine guidance about jobs, areas, and avoiding scams.

Hey! I'm planning to shift to Mumbai around the 2nd week of May and looking for a flat or a flatmate. preferred areas are Andheri West, Versova, or nearby localities with good access to acting related opportunities.

I'm 16M, responsible and focused. I value a peaceful, clean, and respectful living space. I'm easygoing and not into unnecessary drama.

I don't need anything fancy a single bed setup works fine, as long as the place is clean and hygienic(especially the washroom).

Open to sharing with any gender(male/female) as long as the environment is comfortable and respectful.

Budget: 10-15k

If you have a place, are looking for a flatmate, or have any leads, l'd really appreciate it. Just trying to find a good, positive space to start this new chapter.

Feel free to DM.

Thanks!
