Need HELP with getting lantern plumb

Hello, Lighting Know-Howers!

I would appreciate input on how to get this lantern housing plumb and not leaning back against the siding.

The existing mounting block is already fit into the vinyl lap siding grooves.

So, is slipping a couple of shims just behind the square back plate of this lantern the thing to do?

And, if so, any tips on shims?

Or is there something better to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Sharing my Answer to Fridge's Wide Open Compressor Compartment

In case this may help anyone who also has a fridge with that wide open lower rear compressor compartment!

I have 2 curious cats, so getting this compartment safely covered while avoiding airflow blockage took some pondering....

I came up with hardware cloth, and electrical/aluminum tape weren't cutting it, so I bought 4 heavy duty hook magnets, and voila! Problem solved, and easy access for cleaning!

I had to bend the hardware cloth enough to be sure none of it is touching any fridge components. And it is working well.

Help with Freezer issues

HI. I have a 9? year old Frigidaire top freezer 18 cu ft (no ice maker/water dispenser) model# FFTR1814QB6B that was supposedly brand new when I purchased a Clayton home in 2017. It never had issues until recently when I noticed it cycling more often, and 4 days ago fridge felt clearly too warm. I unplugged it, cleaned coils, vac'd water tray and upon removing freezer panel, found vents and coils 75% covered in ice. I probably didn't defrost long enough, but after 2 days of tinkering with the rudimentary temp knob/slider, thermometers in both compartments finally reached a seemingly stable flux within normal range. I started to wonder more about the dark brown "burnt" area in upper right freezer, not sure if it IS a bad factory brazing job, or if this is something I should be very concerned about. I have not smelled any weird burning scents. The fridge has, over the past few days, become utterly quiet at times and then makes normal sounds other than what has sounded (from upper right rear corner area) like maybe fan hitting ice after freezer door was opened briefly then shut.

I would be grateful for any knowledge on this and whether it is worth keeping. I just opened freezer tonight and did not see ice build up, so that is promising, and my photos show the tray and what vac picked up. May be time for a new fridge, I know, but I'd like to use this one if it is safe. TIA

Help identifying wood type

Hi! I recently bought this used wood dresser and cannot figure out what the wood is. I have cleaned and sanded most of it, and am likely going to prime and paint outside and buff/wax inside.

Your info and tips are welcome!

Hello, Plumbing Experts...

Please don't judge my ignorance. I have managed alot of necessary diy projects, screened in my own porch by myself, handled dryer vent/duct install out through exterior skirting, and so on.

I have a 7 year old Clayton mobile home and it looks like their hot and cold lines for kitchen faucet have no shutoff valve, other than 1 going to dishwasher.

I have a new faucet that has braided lines with female metal connection ends.

Please see my photos and give me advice if you're up for that.

Online research isn't helping, other than having me wondering about sharkbite connectors, shutoff valves, entirely new lines, stumped!

The yellow "x" on silver braided line is the NEVER WORKED sprayer, a non factor here....

TIA!
